Singapore Airlines Americas is looking to add a Sales Planning Analyst to the growing Marketing and Sales Planning team. This role will provide analytic support and business intelligence to the sales and marketing team to enable data-driven decision making and drive overall revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, across large sets of data and multiple platforms, to identify trends, share actionable insights, and make recommendations to stakeholders to achieve targets. This is currently a hybrid position, with requirements of partial on-site work in our Los Angeles office.

Job Functions

You will be responsible for turning data into information and insights, and insights into recommendations for sales steering decisions. The Sales Planning Analyst will be responsible for supporting Agency, Corporate, TMC, and direct sales teams with reporting, analytics, and assisting with strategic sales initiatives.
• Create and own dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that synthesize raw data into digestible and actionable information
• Gather specifications for report requirements, providing consultation on report design, data quality, and feasibility
• Interpret data, analyze results using multiple data sources and provide insights and recommendations that the business can action
• Gather and analyze marketplace data, booking, competitor pricing actions, air partners’ network and provide analysis to relevant stakeholders in sales and marketing
• Recommend pricing, sales and marketing strategies to stakeholders in achieving KPIs for the region
• Identify and recommend airline partnership opportunities for the region to Headquarters
• Evaluate and assess the results of pricing and marketing activities and communicate the observations or results to relevant stakeholders
• Take projects and requests from end-to-end, defining business needs, developing strategies, producing necessary reports, and implementing insights
• Effectively communicate results through compelling data storytelling across the regional team
• Provide additional ad-hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative filed such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in analytics and/or business intelligence
• Exceptional analytical skills – with a proficient ability to work with large and complex datasets
• Quantitatively inquisitive with a desire to develop and continuously improve analytic processes
• Expert in Excel and Power BI
• Experienced in Tableau or similar data visualization tools
• Strong storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience
• Problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and design
• Prior experience in commercial airline or travel industry is a plus
• Passion for aviation and travel

10) Review ADM dispute and communicate with Sales/Agent to solve it within 60 days.

11) Prepares write-off papers for defaulted agents and irrecoverable debts

12) Reviews and approves stock indent requests from agents and ticket offices

13) Maintains custody of unused physical check stock and voided checks

14) Receive incoming checks and prepares Check Register

The successful candidate will be part of Integrated Crew Planning and Operations Department in Flight Operations Division. He/She will be responsible for effective leave administration of Cabin Crew.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cabin crew leave administration for all leave types (annual leave, childcare leave, matrimonial leave etc.)
