Our LPCs and LCSWs are responsible for conducting individual therapy and providing parent coaching. A full time load is considered 20-25 direct client hours per week.
Job duties include learning and being trained in areas of specialty of the practice, conducting school based observations, collaborating with other professionals, creating and implementing curriculum for our social skills groups, and being involved with our parent workshops. Completion of therapy notes within 3-5 days is expected. The first year of employment will require submitting to quality checks as it relates to note taking and treatment planning. The first 2 years of employment, employees are required to engage in group consultation activities. Employees will be expected to attend quarterly staff meetings.
Work hours include evenings and weekends.
Required qualifications :
Active LPC or LCSW license in the state of Arizona.
Proficient in use of the DSM 5 to make diagnostic decisions.
At least 3 years ( of past 5) experience in working with children/teens in some capacity.
Desired qualifications:
Having experience in the educational system is not required, but a plus.
Desired skills

Simply Psychology LLC is a private pay multidisciplinary practice with dual certified clinicians who have certifications/licenses in the schools as well as clinically. We provide therapy, comprehensive psychoeducational and gifted evaluations, parent and teacher workshop /trainings, parent coaching, and social skills groups for socially anxious children. We specialize with children and adolescents ages 3-17, and serve some young adults as well. Our post doctoral residents are responsible for conducting individual therapy and comprehensive and gifted evaluations which are split about 75% therapy, 10% parent coaching, and 15% evaluations. Learning/ Training in specialty areas, conducting school based observations, collaborating with other professionals, creating and implementing curriculum for our social skills groups, and being involved with our parent workshops are all opportunities our residents have. In addition to required individual supervision, group supervision opportunities are also provided.
