A visionary and inspiring leader, Chief Architect will be responsible for establishing enterprise standards and developing the enterprise roadmap of technology infrastructure and services, applications and business capabilities.

The Chief Architecture will directly manage a small team which will lead through influence, create fit-for purpose governance, and generate visibility into the operability and effectiveness of our technology based solutions. • Integrate the technology, data and business architecture into a holistic strategy for delivering business value through technology solutions.
• Provide strategic guidance on product and horizontal/enterprise-wide specific architecture priorities, initiatives and actions plans.
• Provide architectural thought leadership and develop end-to-end architecture blueprints and roadmaps for all data and technology based initiatives.

Collaborate with key technology and business stakeholders to align on priorities and drive efficiencies
• Work closely with key stakeholders in product management, technology, operations, and key functions to align priorities and optimize business processes, data flows and technical design.
• Enhance efficiencies by identifying and leveraging common/enterprise-wide technology solutions and the strategic reuse of technology components, platforms and services.
• Lead the modernization, integration and (as required) the rationalization of applications and infrastructure technology portfolios.

Build a high performing and high impact architecture team
• Develop a vibrant architecture community by creating a working environment of high engagement with a focus on proactively providing reliable, flexible and innovative technology solutions.
• Ensure that technologists understand the architecture priorities, and support and reinforce desired behaviors that contribute to business and technology goals.
• Identify highly skilled architecture professionals across the group and ensure that they are appropriately mentored, trained and given opportunities to develop.
• Build and cultivate an operating model where architects work seamlessly across the organization.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Deep enterprise architecture experience, including technical architecture, business architecture, and data architecture/engineering as well as proven experience transforming a legacy environment into a modern, scalable service-oriented architecture with efficient, interoperable solutions supported by the latest technologies (i.e., AI/ML, APIs/microservices, cloud, etc.).
• Strong commercial skills and a deep understanding of the business environment while demonstrating the ability to translate key business objectives and customer needs into an effective architecture strategy and plans.
• Ability, and willingness, to operate at both a strategic and tactical level while understanding how to effectively delegate and a demonstrated ability to communicate strategic and highly complex technical information to audiences of all levels in a way that establishes credibility, influences and provides relevant context to inform decision making.
• Competencies we would like to see:

Strategic Mindset

• An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry.
• The ability to effectively balance the desire/need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling, to create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful.

Results-Oriented Execution
• The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
• A risk-taker who seeks data and input from others to foresee possible threats or unintended circumstances from decisions; someone who takes smart risks.

In batches of about 100 at a time, use our Shutterstock account to pull relevant images that our writers will eventually place in our articles (you'll have the headline to go off of).

The details...

- You'd decide whether a single image is sufficient or whether a couple images with some inserted text would be better (see attached file for examples).

- You'd write the alt text (also in attached examples).

- You'd download the resulting images into a repository and populate a spreadsheet with the info/links.

Frequency:

If there's a mutual fit, we'd need about 100 images done asynchronously each month. There's potential for more over time, both in terms of more images and other projects
