What you’ll do...
• Perform strategic calls (i.e. scheduled and outgoing) to serve as a trusted advisor to the FI on matters pertinent to SHAZAM and the FI, including network and industry related current events.
• Implement and maintain a detailed time and territory management system that effectively covers the assigned territory/region. Perform presentations (i.e. in-person and virtual) that includes regularly scheduled relationship activities, strategic engagement, products & services review, and data analytics through Executive Business Reviews (EBR) with senior executives of the FI (each EBR must have at least on C-Suite level from the FI in attendance).
• Coordinate the execution of pricing proposals and competitive analyses that are then delivered and presented to FIs. Work with FI and internal SHAZAM resources to negotiate contract renewals. Work with Microsoft product suite to assist in the development and delivery of these pricing proposals and competitive analyses.
• Develop, maintain, and execute client plans (SWOTs, objectives, and contacts) as determined by the Managing Director or Manager, Client Retention & Growth. Begin contract negotiations at least 12 months prior to the contract coming up for renewal. Maintain retention rate of your assigned territory as determined on an annual basis.
• Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with C-Suite and middle management contacts within assigned territory. Expectation is to have 2 or more contacts within each FI relationship, and those contacts should be documented in your client plans on SalesForce.
• Proactively work with clients to assist them in growing their card base and increasing overall transaction activity as well as other SHAZAM products and services. Define the leads and opportunities in SalesForce.
• Attend necessary association and trade-show conventions. Develop and maintain working relationships with State associations. Generate leads through these association and trade-show conventions.
• Attend scheduled sales meetings and internal training sessions as requested by the Managing Director or Manager, Client Retention & Growth.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments within SHAZAM (excluding executive team) and participate in special projects as directed by the Managing Director or Manager, Client Retention & Growth. Proactively engages other departments in a persuasive manner. Ensures all collaboration is done with appropriate resource or lead within each department. Interacts with other departments in a positive fashion.
• Ability to easily navigate Salesforce and effectively build reports for territory analysis and management. Assist less experienced team members with navigation and report creation. Effectively utilize all dashboards to track own performance and progress to goals.
• Required knowledge of internal SHAZAM systems (i.e. Siebel, Filebound, HP Maintenance, Concur).
• Above average knowledge of SHAZAM products and services. Requires Managing Director, Manager – CRG, mentor or product subject matter expert (SME) to assist in discussions with FI.
• Work independently on special projects at the direction of the Managing Director or Manager, Client Retention & Growth.
• Ability to represent Client Retention & Growth on SHAZAM Enterprise projects.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
• Ability to easily shift priorities and handle urgent client issues at the direction of Managing Director or Manager, CRG.

What skills you need:
• EFT/Financial Services experience strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent business experience.

Annual Salary starting at $72,500 to $96,100* + Commission
