SUMMARY
#1 Priority: to ensure that the quality of GORUCK’s financial management always matches the excellence and toughness of our gear and events. This position is for a process-minded person with a passion for numbers, is detailed-oriented and loves to see things come together. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of distilling actionable intelligence from information, and consistently driven toward action.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Assist with forecasting future revenue and expenditures to help determine budgets for upcoming projects
• Prepares timely and accurate monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheet, budgets, and other custom reporting
• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
• Evaluate current and previous financial data
• Maintains accounting records and general ledger
• Develops and implements internal control procedures for the company
• Assist with additional tasks and duties as needed
• Collaborates and cross trains with the Controller and Cost Analyst to perform all needed reporting, analysis and administration tasks of the financial function of GORUCK.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in finance or similar field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields.
• Minimum of 3+ years experience working with Quickbooks
• Experience Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms, etc.)
• Highly organized with an intense attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills
• Tenacious and highly resourceful - no problem is unsolvable
