Job Summary

Primary responsibility is to drive concrete mixer to work sites and discharge loads. This is in a variety of settings and conditions including uneven ground, and may require unloading and attaching extension chutes weighing thirty to fifty pounds to end of primary chute. A Ready-Mix Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the ready-mix truck used for delivery of products connected to the Company's ready-mix concrete operation.

Job Responsibilities
• Safely drive truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads
• Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner to adjust to desired level
• Estimate slump of concrete
• Distinguish between a proper mix and one that is too rocky or too sandy
• Distinguish the color difference between mixes
• Verify directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site
• Strive to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction survey results consistent with strategic objectives
• Develop extensive working relationships with customers, both external and internal, in order to maximize opportunities for CEMEX and to ensure customer needs are addressed
• Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies
• Maintain personal appearance in neat and clean manner, including shirts tucked in at all times
• Maintain radio contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the RFO program, utilizing a cross-functional leadership style working closely with internal teams such as Operations, Operations Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, HSE, Regulatory, IT, HR as well externally with applicable stakeholders of Venture Global LNG’s facilities. This position will be located initially in Houston, TX and transitions to Cameron, LA, with requirements for travel, as necessary across other VG operating assets in Louisiana for RFO related scopes.

Key interactions include Louisiana and Houston-based team members on the Operating team and the Project team. The ability to effectively interface with the Arlington, VA, Houston, TX, and Site Teams is a prerequisite, with strong interpersonal skills, communication and very proactive, detail-oriented approach to ensure team is able to deliver targets in timely manner.

The RFO Program is the primary roadmap for the facility to be able to achieve Ready for Operation milestones. The RFO Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, maintaining, driving, and communicating RFO deliverables database and tracking to completion.

As such, the candidates shall have adequate technical, project controls and schedule management & data analysis aptitude and be able to deliver an integrated RFO program within schedule, via interfacing, coordination, progress tracking, reporting, expediting and readiness validation for the Operating Assets.

Location: This position will be based in Cameron, LA with training in Houston, TX

Responsibilities:
• Establish and program manage a structured, well-managed and executed RFO program from end-to-end with a large number of stakeholders.
• Engage with key functional stakeholders and support groups on a daily basis to guide and monitor the planning and execution necessary to support timely completion of RFO deliverables (i.e. Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Commercial etc.).
• Review RFO deliverables schedules to ensure that the appropriate level of details and structure are applied with effective progress monitoring
• Conduct progress review meetings to co-ordinate, expedite and follow-up to meet RFO goals and objectives between all RFO functional teams.
• Implement tracking process and reporting for RFO deliverables, integrating with company systems.
• Report on project status, performance, constraints, and issues to advise management on data-driven decision making.
• Coordinate and facilitate RFO related validation activities to confirm operational readiness.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional assignments as required, for Operations Services support.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering or allied areas with 5+ years’ experience in Oil and Gas Operations and preferred exposure in RFO.

• 5+ years industry experience in operations with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position of responsibility and expertise in an operating LNG facility.
• Able to develop and execute a facility wide Ready for Operations program while clearly communicating expectations with all Functional Team Leaders and members on technical and operational matters.

Position Overview

Operates ready mix trucks in a safe and professional manner in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at various job sites to deliver products. Deliveries will be made in both commercial and residential areas.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

• Performs thorough pre and post-trip truck inspections.
• Verify general compliance with mix specifications after loading and at job site.
• Position Ready Mix Truck under discharge boot to receive concrete.
• Drives Ready Mix Truck safely to location for unloading.
• Operate Ready Mix Truck to place concrete in specified area as directed by customer.

Operate Ready Mix/Concrete Truck in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Martin Marietta and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.

Work Duties
• Performs daily preventative maintenance, record and inspection on vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, checking and adding fluids as needed.
• Uses water hoses to clean mixer between loads.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Assist maintenance with repairs as needed.
• Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in mixer.
• Communicates and directs coworkers verbally either directly, through two-way radio or hand signals.
• Provides appropriate documentation on delivery tickets.
• Ensures all delivery tickets are signed and returned.
• Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading and operation to and from work site.
• Maintain good customer relations. Act in a professional, courteous manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Assists in training of co-workers as needed.
