You’ll report to the Club Engagement Manager and collaborate closely with other members of the global program teams to ensure that the vision for our programs is in agreement and that best practices are shared across teams. You’ll also contribute to the execution of Coolest Projects, a national showcase event for youth who create with technology. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is relatively new to this field and is looking for a place to grow professionally.

Main responsibilities
• Managing communications with prospective and existing club leaders, fielding questions, preparing email campaigns, and engaging with the public on social media
• Leading the logistical aspects of marketing and outreach efforts, which includes working with the Outreach Manager to promote our programs at events and conferences
• Assisting with community engagement for Coolest Projects by marketing the event to the public and recruiting youth to showcase their projects
• Maintaining shared resources such as databases, documents, printed collateral, and digital media

Experience and personal attributes

You should be:
• Passionate about technology, education, and digital making, and familiar with the ecosystems and communities that surround these fields
• A natural collaborator with the ability to work across teams and a track record of cooperating with colleagues to achieve results
• Comfortable with travel within the United States and abroad
• A strong communicator who is comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people

You will ideally have:
• At least 1 year’s experience and a strong network in a relevant field, such as technology, education, digital making, STEM, STEAM, social enterprise, or nonprofit

This is a big project, to be broken down into milestones.
