This position will provide critical operation and execution support on a day-to-day basis for a wide range of youth hockey programs throughout the New York Metropolitan area including camps and clinics, tournaments, leagues, in-arena fan touch-points, and other special events and projects, with the goal of ensuring the successful execution of strategic, best-in-class, fan-first brand experiences.

What will you do?

· Develop and execute programming that aligns with our fan development and youth program strategies, including, but not limited to Junior Rangers Girls Hockey League, Peewee Girls Tournament Team, Girls Hockey Weekend, Girls Camps & Clinics, and others.

· Build and manage relationships and cooperative programs/events with external organizations focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in the sport, including Ice Hockey in Harlem, American Special Hockey Association, Rangers Sled Hockey, and others.

· Organize and track department spending, based on annual budgets, including submitting purchase orders and processing invoices. Help manage project-specific budgets.

· Coordinate data capture strategies across all youth programs and activities, as well as identifying and executing additional onboarding opportunities to grow the fan base. This includes building and managing program/event registration, as well as updating and maintaining rosters.

· Responsible for creating and updating department calendars which outline key activities for events.

· Manage customer database in coordination with MSG’s CRM system, including updating, tracking, and reporting.

· Assist with community events and other duties as assigned.

· Manage the inventory, allocation and tracking of game used items and signed merchandise by working closely with Team Operations, Merchandise, and our external collectibles partners. Schedule and manage the execution of team signing days and other signing needs.

· Assist with departmental allocations with our Rangers fan experience portfolio along with on-site game logistics and coordination.

· Support NYR Alumni Relations Youth and Community based appearances in conjunction with internal stakeholders.

· Provide additional administrative support for NYR Alumni Relations (e.g., Budget Tracking, Ticket Requests).

What do you need to succeed?

· Detail-oriented, highly organized individual with experience or interest in project management

· Adaptable individual who will establish effective relationships across multiple departments and functional areas

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Undergraduate college degree required

· Must be able to work nights and weekends
