We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer for Qt's Quality Assurance Tools team.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process support requests from prospects and customers via email ticketing system
• Provide technical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings
• Reproduce technical issues
• Develop and provide solutions for smaller issues or forward requests to the development team for further debugging
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Strong programming skills in script languages such as Python, JavaScript and/or Java
• Experience with any GUI programming either professionally or otherwise
• Familiarity with Unix shell, Windows batch or PowerShell scripting
• Highly organized and solution oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills both internally and customer-facing
• Good analytical and organizational skills; curiosity in technical problems with motivation to help customers
