We are seeking a full-time Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor to provide exceptional mental health therapy to a diverse client population. The... candidate will be able to work independently and will deliver a holistic/diverse approach to counseling to their clients, and will have knowledge in trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT), and will be empathetic and multi-culturally sensitive.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- This work will be fully remote.
- Total ownership/control regarding scheduling and when you see clients.
- Your autonomy will be respected, and within reason and when you've built up your caseload, you will eventually have full agency in determining who you work with.
- Weekly supervision and on call guidance from your supervisor will be provided as is needed/required.
- Limited admin work required so you can better focus on the actual clinical work versus paperwork.
- You will be paid bi-weekly regardless if insurance has paid.
- Full time is defined by scheduling 24 sessions/week, so please have a schedule that allows for this quantity.
- Stipend for pursuing trainings and furthering/expanding clinical skills
- Free tools of courses purchased by owner
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• LP-MHC in the state of New York.
• Malpractice insurance coverage $1m/$3m minimum.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with various theoretical approaches.
