Ensure all benefit enrollments, new hire data, employee/position changes, pay, leave policies, and all other human resources related information is accurate and follows organizational policies.
Create and implement Business System Requirements (BSRs) for enhancements/modifications to human resources support systems for new processes and procedures and/or the streamlining of data across systems.
Evaluate work processes to determine strategies and programs that provide greater productivity and efficiency of department functions.
Oversee compliance with internal policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
Ensure public records and information are managed, maintained, and disposed in accordance to the Library of Virginia.
Ensures compliance with all security, safety, and environmental regulations and policies within work area at all times. This includes properly addressing issues through action or reporting issues and concerns to Manager.

Who You Are: Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field required.
Seven years of progressive experience in retirement and benefits administration, wellness programs, HRIS, and employee engagement required.
Experience managing a self-funded benefits plan required.
Seven years of Human Resources leadership experience required.
Certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR highly preferred.

Provide written shift reports to peers on job status.
Be adept at troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.

Who You Are: Qualifications

AA/AS in related field, Technical Certification or equivalent work experience.

Experience in programming and troubleshooting using PLCs.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be available to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
Ability to work a physically demanding job safely in all types of environments.
