SUMMARY:

The Patriots Social Media Associate will help execute content strategy with the goals of maximizing reach, growing our overall audience, and to entertain, engage and inform our fan base. The Patriots Social Media Associate will interface with social media, digital and video departments along with other departments within our organization to assist as needed in helping package, post, and promote our content to reach fans on all platforms.

The ideal candidate will be highly attentive to detail and possess superlative communication and organizational skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Help brainstorm copy for links to article posts on all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Coordinate approvals as needed.
• Help prepare videos for posting on YouTube, including title, thumbnail, end cards and monetization.
• Oversee live streams on Facebook and Twitter, including press conferences, pre and postgame shows and any event streams.
• Assist with content publishing and updating of Patriots.com using a CMS (Content Management System).
• Build photo galleries on Patriots.com, including but not limited to, Lil Pats Fan and PETriots monthly galleries, travel photos, pregame arrivals and locker room galleries.
• Write titles and abstracts for videos on Patriots.com that incorporate SEO and organizational messaging.
• Facilitate social and digital sweepstakes along with contests to include preparing and uploading rules, handling fulfilment, tracking and managing winners.
• Select, size, color and watermark photos for posting and assist in sizing, watermarking and coloring video content on game days if needed.
• Manipulate graphics templates by changing photos and text for each content piece.
• Assist with community management, including emails, Facebook messages, Twitter mentions and comments on all platforms; handle fan pack requests and fulfillment; flag story ideas and content opportunities.
• Monitor and update weekly, monthly and yearly content calendars to track daily posting and share notable or historical dates including anniversaries, birthdays and milestones.
• Help with media availability notes archive, listening and taking notes during press availabilities, including radio appearances.
• Transcribe videos and add closed captions.
• Collaborate on podcast promotion, assisting with internal positioning as well as identifying external interest.
• Support Patriots international efforts as needed.
• Brainstorm content ideas for social activations in addition to organizational projects.
• Collect iPhone content if needed, on game day, in the community, at practice and at events.
• Work closely with social media and marketing teams to ensure brand and sponsor requirements are adhered to.
• Engage in creative problem solving, make suggestions, and provide guidance for changes or improvements to the content production process.
• Provide status reports to Social Media Supervisor and/or project owner as required.
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• This position has no supervisory responsibility.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, multimedia production or related-field preferred.
• Corporate or brand representation or journalism experience on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and/or Twitch.
• Experience using content applications and platforms, such as CMS and Social tools.
• Strong computer application skills and experience with various forms of content creation.
• Strong photo editing and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with collaboration/sharing tools such a Google Suite, Slack and Workfront.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Extremely creative and attentive to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with superlative follow-through ability.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline heavy environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and work on tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of football, the NFL and the New England Patriots a plus.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the client liaison with Third Party Administrators including Flexible Spending Accounts, Self-Funded Dental and COBRA.
• Provide expertise in all areas of the enrollment process, including eligibility, qualifying events, terminations, and plan design clarification.
• Provide, with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing accounts.
• Participate in seminars and classes for skills and knowledge development, including continuing education requirements.
• Prioritize workload and/or request assistance as required.
• Meet with clients as necessary to discuss and handle their insurance needs.
• Keep producers fully informed of activities on their accounts.
• Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to the highest level possible.

Requirements:
• Active Health and Life license with the California Department of Insurance
• Three years of industry experience in employee benefits
• High school diploma or equivalent degree, college degree preferred

Salary Range*: $65,000 - $85,000
• A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
