What you’ll be doing:
• Plan a healthful cuisine in keeping with CRC traditions and the nutritional needs and tastes of the guests.
• Be responsible for all inventorying, ordering, and ensuring that all adequate supplies are on hand while being mindful of the budget.
• Establish and maintain policies and protocols that ensure cleanliness and safety in all food preparation areas.
• Supervise the Kitchen Staff: Assistant Cook, Prep Cook and Dish-room Crew.
• Supervise Crew while in kitchen or when involved with the preparation and serving of meals (such as cookouts).
• Bring any issues or concerns to the attention of the Manager(s) as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary Range: $10,500 - $11,000 per season
• Onsite housing + meals are provided for FREE

Provide the full-service lodging experience to guests vacationing at one location or adventuring from lodge to lodge. What you’ll be doing:
• Assist guests and visitors in a positive manner.
• Respond to any problems or special requests with a professional demeanor.
• Interact with guests regarding local information, lodge amenities, organizational efforts and programs.
• Assist with the set-up, delivery, and clean-up of meal service including making daily trail lunches
• Clean and sanitize all food service and dining areas on a daily basis.
• Participate in the daily cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, common areas and bathrooms.
• Participate in deep cleaning of the lodge and other areas on a weekly/monthly basis or as instructed.
• Assist with groundwork, including but not limited to snow removal, firewood stacking, and solar array clearing
• Implement energy conservation and environmentally sound practices daily

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work hard and well both independently and in groups
• Ability to do manual lifting and strenuous work required
• Inventory control experience desirable
• Knowledge of the AMC and North Country communities helpful
• Experience driving large vehicles and towing trailers desirable
