The ideal candidate should possess a passion and curiosity for the outdoors and a strong desire to work with a company that embraces the 2nd Amendment, hunting, and shooting. The Sales and Marketing Director will work alongside the National Sales Manager to:

• Create a brand and store atmosphere that is welcoming, organized and inclusive.

• Serve as a brand ambassador and lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Lead our customers through the sales process of selecting, coordinating, and purchasing firearms and accessories while providing the highest level of customer service.

• Ability to reach, move, and handle merchandise in high and low areas, lift up to 30 pounds, and have the stamina to execute floor sets.

• Accurately manage a firearms log that is in compliance with all Federal laws and State Laws.

• Expediently process and ship orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Office and Customer Service Manager will have various duties including: handling all incoming phone calls from customers and clients, processing new subscriptions and subscription renewals, coordinating the monthly magazine distribution, handling the processing and shipping for merchandise sales, assistance with coordinating and planning company events like the GON Outdoor Blast, and other office/administrative duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

The Advertising Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing sales by identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and maintaining relationships. The position will involve frequent in-state travel, negotiating sales contracts and informing clients about new products, features and opportunities. Areas of responsibility include print, social, web, and eblasts as well as sponsorships and booth sales for the annual GON Outdoor Blast. Occasional in-person meetings at the GON office in Watkinsville, Georgia also will be required.

Desired Skills & Experience:

· A proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

· A demonstrated ability to work independently and meet sales goals.

· Skill or experience with negotiation, preferably in business or sales.

· Impeccable interpersonal communication skills.

· Thorough understanding of the outdoor industry and current trends.

· Solid understanding of social media and online advertising.
