• Staff scheduling to ensure correct client needs including but not limited to staff-to-client ratios.
• Constant communication with your supervisor for any updates, clarification, and guidance.
• Report staff (and client attendance), track client units, monitor staff hours and ensure daily care notes are in place.
• Plans and facilitates client activities and outings, events, and activity planning to align with client goals
• Have a good working knowledge of DSPD and DHS contracts and the Code of Conduct.
• Team lead may be responsible to assist with schedules being confirmed (Axiscare)
• Assigns and ensures staffs completion of monthly reports
• Attend meetings and company-wide huddles
• Support with activities of daily living (ADL), bathrooms, hygiene, eating, etc.
• First point of contact with client families
• Be accessible to employees that you supervise
• Performs other duties and specialty areas as assigned by the supervisor.
• Must successfully obtain required certifications and training.
• Keeps required certifications updated and maintains personal compliance.
• At least 75% of work hours must be billable (worked directly with a client) unless approved by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certifications including CPR, Safety-Care Training
• Access to reliable transportation.

Ideal Qualifications
• Ideally, the DSP Lead should have at least two years of equivalent experience

• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
