MAG Aerospace is seeking a Senior Program Officer to support the Integration Division for ONS. The successful candidate will provide SETA support to the PM EW&C Integration Division for various ONS that PM EW&C is the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR). Performs continuous management and review of cost, schedule, performance, and supportability of projects/programs/products... as they transition through the acquisition life cycle from research, development, production, fielding and sustainment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:
• Coordinate and develop procedures relating to financial management, acquisition, implementation, distribution, and logistical support for hardware, software, supplies, and services required by projects
• Plan, conduct, and/or direct highly complex reviews and initiate reports which are provided to higher headquarters and other commands with recommendations on best courses of action
• Review input from team leaders at integrated logistics systems sites worldwide for appropriateness of requests, availability of resources, and compatibility with the integrated logistics effort
• Analyzes and evaluates project development, progress, and performance
• Supports periodic reviews with appropriate representatives to determine status of overall project and major milestones; ensure coordination for orderly phasing of all actions and detect potential slippages in advance; identify potential increases in cost; and ascertain appropriate action required to maintain or improve project schedules. Reviews and monitors all critical project documents
• Plans, organizes, and evaluates work of participating members and organizations that have relationships to the project. Applies a broad knowledge of program management to accomplish the management and administration of assigned projects
• Conduct stakeholder engagements at various levels related to assigned ONS
• Reviews program documentation and makes decisions concerning long-range plans, policies, and schedules to improve the programmatic and technical effectiveness of the management team
• Conceives new approaches to various near term and long-range projects and presents to the Integration Division Chief for approval
• Advises the Integration Division Chief and project management staff concerning program and financial management, engineering development, and logistics support of assigned projects
• Provides guidance to activities supporting the project to ensure proper balance consistent with requirements and available resources
• Submits suggestions for new opportunities and reports user/customer problems or opportunities to the Integration Division Chief
• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills
• Expert Knowledge of Program Management (PMP or DAWIA Level 3) and the full range of program management principles and practices to include budgeting, planning, staffing, funding, and managing resources for matrix, support contractor and external PMs.
• Recent program/product manager assignments supporting delivery of program of record or operational needs systems
• Familiarity with acquisition lifecycle management
• Ability to work on multi-functional teams
• Experience with developing and program plans, integrated master plans, and integrated master schedules

Experience
• 15+ years of experience in acquisition program management

Clearance
• Secret DoD Security Clearance

Education
• B.A or B.S. in any discipline

Desired Requirements
• Technical Degree (Engineering, Systems Engineering, Science, etc.) or Finance (MBA, etc.) PM training, DAWIA PM training, etc.
• TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance

Other Qualifications
• Ability to work in a SCIF/Lab Environment
