The online Civil Engineering Masters Degree program is 100% online and does not require a thesis or GRE for students with undergraduate engineering degrees.

Located in Clemson, South Carolina, Clemson University is a large graduate school with more than 5,000 graduate students. Although thousands of students have decided to further their education at this institution, class sizes still remain small, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 16 to 1. The University of Oklahoma was founded in 1890 and offers a 32-credit online civil engineering program that can be completed by working professionals in 21 months. Cowley County Community College offers two Associates in Computer Science online degrees. Students can choose to pursue either an Associate of Arts in Computer Information Science or an Associate of Science in Computer Science. The Computer Science and Information Systems pathway is a two-year transfer program and requires a strong foundation in mathematics and science. The associates degree requires 62 credits for completion.

Students at Trinity Valley Community College can pursue a number of Associates in Computer Science Online. The college offers an Associate of Arts in Computer Science alongside Associate of Applied Science degrees in either Computer Science — Management Information Systems or Information Systems Support and Administration. All computer science programs are designed to prepare students for either entry-level positions in a specific computer field or transfer to a four-year college or university.

South Texas College offers both an Associate in Computer Information systems and Associates in Computer Science online. Ocean County College offers an Associate of Science in Computer Science as well as an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Science and Information Technology. The Associate of Science program is designed as a transfer pathway to a four-year degree. The Associate of Applied Science is a career program created to prepare students for entry-level positions in a multitude of computer-related jobs. All students learn aspects of the software development process, including composing and coordinating components of a program and constructing algorithms for problem solving.

To determine how to rank each computer science college , we researched and evaluated each school’s estimated per-credit cost of tuition and on-time graduation rate. We used in-state tuition rates where available. We took tuition rates directly from each school’s website and graduation data from Google. We sorted each school first by the cost of tuition (lower is better) and then by graduation rate (higher is better), letting each value make up equal portions (50%) of the final rankings. Where schools were tied in the rankings, we gave additional weight to the cost of tuition.
