The HR Excellence Specialist provides training and support to all
employees in response to Workday inquiries. The Specialist is an
expert who provides assistance to users in all areas of transaction
processing, building capabilities and helping users become more
skilled and self-sufficient.

Responsibilities:

1) Answer phone calls and resolve ServiceNow tickets: Review,
research and resolve tickets on assigned Workday topics in
ServiceNow from end users. Maintain a log of routine
issues/questions that will provide trends to the HR Excellence
Supervisor. These will be reviewed with the Knowledge Manager to
aid in identifying and addressing knowledge gaps. The HR Excellent
Specialists will regularly audit and analyze Workday data to ensure
accuracy and integrity.

2) Review and approve appropriate operational business processes in
Workday.

Review and load EIB files into Workday (Student hires, Auto term
process, Hires, Additional payments). Manage I-9 reporting.

3) Provide Workday training to all end users (local HR, Managers,
and Employees).

The HR Excellence Specialists will train, and coach all end users,
to include new local HR personnel and other HR colleagues, on
Workday processes. Training may be conducted in a group setting or
one-on-one.

4) Participate in special projects.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of HRIT/HR processes, programs and Workday in order to
provide Tier 1 level support. High level of accuracy and excellent
attention to detail, and ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced
environment. Ability to explain processes and policies in a clear,
concise manner while coaching users. Able to audit and analyze
Workday data to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Effective
communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge
and skills required for this position are normally acquired through
the completion of an Associate's degree or equivalent with one or
more years of relevant work. Bachelor's degree preferred.

About the Opportunity

The Web Developer & Implementation, Enrollment Marketing
position works within the Digital Marketing team, reporting to the
Director of Digital Marketing within Enrollment Management (EM)
with a dotted line to the Assistant Vice President for EM Marketing
& Digital Strategy.

This position will oversee web systems management on both the
undergraduate and graduate Enrollment Management-run websites, with
a focus on integrating and meeting marketing needs and goals;
managing external vendors with an eye toward an ideal consumer
experience; ensure web functionality in the service of lead
generation, data capture, quality assurance, customer journey
mapping, organic engagement prioritization, and pipeline funneling
into top/middle of funnel as it relates to the customer web
experience; and look for opportunities collaborate with teams
across the division to extend website effectiveness and the
customer service experience across all parts of the recruitment
funnel. The position will heavily focus on graduate marketing
needs, and a core part of their first-year duties will be working
with vendors and internal partners on a redesign of the customer
experience on the graduate site.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years minimum experience managing
marketing needs for consumer-oriented websites, along with:
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders with different
needs and responsibilities is required
• Experience managing large-scale website redesigns and vendor
relationships is required
• Ability to edit, maintain, and troubleshoot issues with web
content is required.
• Deep understanding of marketing concerns for B2C website
management is required, including SEO concerns, application
integrations, data capture and management, and properly managing
content integrations between multiple sites.
• A general understanding of technical aspects of web design are
preferred. Specifically: UX, CMS, Copyright regulations, Firewalls,
HTLA, Intrusion detection and prevention systems-IDS/IPS,
Javascript and website accessibility standards.
• Understanding of website metrics, traffic patterns, and visitor
behavior is required.
• Consumer-focused web experience is strongly preferred,
particularly a “shopping cart” or “retail” customer
experience.
• Experience with directed traffic landing page management and
design is preferred.
• Experience with Slate CRM is strongly preferred.
• A marketing-oriented mindset is required
• The ability to translate technical knowledge and solutions for
non-technical audiences required
• Higher education and/or graduate/professional program
experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with a matrix reporting organization preferred

Responsibilities:

The World Languages Center
in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern
University seeks applications for a Visiting Lecturer of Korean
Language and Culture.

Duties include a teaching load of 3 courses per semester (two
introductory level courses in Korean and one in Korean pop culture
taught in English), customized language instruction offerings, and
ongoing curricular and pedagogical innovation. Professional
development and service are also expected. This is a two-year full
time, non-tenure track with full benefits, and with an expected
start date of Fall 2023.

This position will support the University's commitment to
innovation in teaching as well as the World Languages Center's
vision of developing students' intercultural communicative
competence. Candidates should have demonstrated commitment to
fostering diverse and inclusive environments as well as to
promoting experiential learning, which are central to a
Northeastern University education.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree is required, with a preference for a Ph.D. in
Korean studies, applied linguistics, second language acquisition,
or pedagogy. The successful applicant should be well prepared to
teach Korean language and culture to students at the college level
from diverse backgrounds, have experience teaching in remote and/or
online formats, and possess advanced proficiency in Korean.
Preference will be given to those with a specialization in Korean
pop culture and/or film. Additional consideration will also be
given to those with the ability to teach another language or
English composition for multilingual students.
