JOB SUMMARY
The Creative Solutions Specialist is the main point of support for the Sales team to assist in the creation of impactful sales, email and presentation materials. Working with the sales team you will support the development of key relationships that drive revenue, expand our customer base and boost results through data and analytics to help optimize commercial sales opportunities.
Our team is collaborative, innovative and profoundly committed to Newsweek's mission of delivering high-quality journalism to readers around the globe. You will work alongside other creative teams to build Newsweek's marketing collateral, client proposals, and RFP responses. The Creative Solutions Specialist will help bring creative ideas to life while nurturing new business opportunities through strategic proposals. You will develop a deep understanding of Newsweek's business offerings as well as our client needs to build and retain our client portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Sales team with conducting market research
• Design creative and innovative sales materials; responses to RFPs, presentation decks, email newsletters and other essential collateral
• Building media plans in spreadsheets and creating aesthetically appealing PowerPoint slides
• Analyze data, highlight key findings and report results to sales team
• Track and manage sales leads and ensure data is up to date on the Company's CMS, MS Dynamics
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account status and other relevant issues
• Provide feedback to support and identify areas of opportunity
• Ability to streamline the template process and maintain a steady workflow
• Review pending orders and specific customers requests to ensure excellent customer service and experience
REQUIREMENTS
• 2-3 years experience in a sales support/client management role
• Excellent communication skills, team oriented and problem solver
• Strong analytical, multitasking skills and a strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, expert MS Excel user and digital design software
• Time management and self directed with a mindset of continuous improvement
Desirable:
• Experience within the media industry, ideally in a news organization
• InDesign and Photoshop experience
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
