Job Title: R&D Unity Engineer - Game Development
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: LA, California (Hybrid/Remote)
What You'll Do
• Improve and maintain contents generations pipeline and tools in Unity
• Define debug environment and workflow to identify the issue and tracks
• Develop the custom unity toolsets/editor UI for artists workflow improvements
• Support R&D Prototype on unity project
• Evaluate the risk and reward of new features in Unity
• Prepare toolset for company-wide deployments
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Unity development
• Overall understanding of animation, rendering/shading, asset managements and event game system in Unity
• Development experience with the fast tracks development in iterative prototype environment and presentable products as final products
• Good understanding of art asset pipeline from DCC to engine
• Flexible mindset to adopt and explore the unfamiliar domain of experts
• Highly preferred mobile game development experience
• Plus on experience/knowledge on typescript
• Good communication skills, ability to work with creative and art departments

What You'll Do
• Translate daily and weekly Content Operations updates, projects, and tasks across our key document & management tools such as ClickUp, Slack, and Wiki.
• Localize, transcreate, and QA all Korean to English translations for day-to-day content and UX writing requests
• Build and optimize the UX Writing Guide including tone-of-voice, style guides, glossaries, and localization guidelines to maintain language quality across the organization
• Demonstrate strong project management skills and thought leadership; drive effective localization best-practices to address linguistic issues and establish the local voice for ZEPETO's US audience
• Interpret for cross-functional Korea <> US meetings, on occasion
Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in copywriting for a social media or gaming company required
• 3 years of experience in localization, translation, and interpretation of Korean and English
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• High level of empathy to receive and iterate from constructive feedback
• Ability to partner cross-functionally and work with a wide range of stakeholders
• Experience in both social media and gaming industry preferred
