General Summary:

The Renewable Natural Gas Origination Manager will be responsible for developing new business and growth opportunities for RNG supply and demand.

Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:
• The RNG Originator will be responsible for developing new business and growth opportunities for RNG supply and demand, including new and existing RNG production and transportation fuel dispensing (CNG/LNG)
• Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives for RNG supply
• Responsible for deal leadership including external relationship management, commercial negotiations, and contract negotiations
• Meets customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing, and competition
• Conduct market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy to meet optimization goals
• Utilize expertise in environmental markets to identify and develop prospective client relationships
• Maintain robust sales pipeline through ongoing business development activities
• Conduct market and client-specific discovery and value proposition development
• Provide strategic account management and maintain effective client relationships
• Anticipate changes in client needs and provides strategic solutions
• Evaluate and present opportunities for product and services development

Required Education, Experience and Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of related work experience in RNG, renewable diesel, or natural gas origination and sales
• Proven track record of building and sustaining client relationships

Skills:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical information in layman’s terms
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory environmental policies and markets preferred
• Strong relationship-building skills required

The core focus of this role will be on the short-term trading and optimization of physical and financial natural gas products and aid in the overall position management of the Gulf Coast and Southeast regions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Produce P&L by trading short term Gulf Coast and Southeast gas markets ($5MM annual min target)

• Optimize the existing physical gas trading book and extend the SWE footprint throughout the Gulf Coast and Southeast
• Actively build genuine and trustworthy customer relationships. Work to understand the markets needs and overall perspective in order to provide a customized suite of energy solutions
• Help manage the overall risk associated with physical book of business and minimize value leakage
• Participate to and ensure alignment with Southwest Energy’s overall goals and strategies

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Master’s degree a plus.
• 3 or more years of relevant experience in physical gas trading
• Gulf Coast and Southeast gas market knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of and adherence to industry Compliance and Regulatory rules
• Thrives in a high-pressure multi-tasking environment where time sensitive tasks/projects must be consistently delivered with high quality
• Demonstrated self-starter with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude
• Good human relation skills (oral and written)

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 -$170,000 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority,

and internal equity

Qualifications

Requirements
• Targeted 7+ years of Natural Resources commercial Property & Casualty experience in a client facing role or demonstrated capabilities to complete role responsibilities
• Able to apply knowledge of coverage forms in the analysis of program design, the identification of coverage gaps, and ongoing coverage consultation
• Ability to interpret, analyze, and present analytical models
• Relationship Management skills: able to leverage internal and external relationships to bring WTW resources and assets tailored to client needs; ability to drive conflict resolution
