What You Will Do

As a member of the field operations team, the Field Project Manager will manage and coordinate post sale implementation tasks pertaining to the installation of security systems sold by the Sensormatic sales team to its Canadian clients. The majority of security system installations are Sensormatic brand Electronic Article Surveillance Systems and various brands of Video Security systems. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
• Manage projects assigned. Projects consist of mid to high volume small projects and low to mid volume large projects.
• Manage multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously on a daily basis.
• Review and validate assigned project scope of work, bill of material and implementation budget.
• Work closely with internal departments and lead project meetings.
• Communicate with internal team, customers, general contractors and... subcontractors to confirm material, shipping, site and resource readiness.
• Create estimates for internal and external installation resources and lift equipment as necessary.
• Solicit project bids from subcontractors for projects requiring subcontractor labor. Award projects as per award policy.
• Generate purchase order requisitions for subcontractor labor, lift rentals and miscellaneous materials as necessary. Distribute purchase orders and close upon completion.
• Work closely with Johnson Controls distribution center to obtain material availability status, schedule shipping dates and remedy any discrepancies. Follow up on shipments and confirm delivery to site.
• Facilitate permit process. Typically acquired by others.
• Assign and schedule Sensormatic technicians and subcontractors to perform installation tasks. The project manager will ensure that scheduling maximizes efficiency, accelerates project backlog depletion, quality and compliance to all health and safety requirements.
• Create and distribute SOW documentation to assigned installers and lead project kickoff meeting to review documentation.
• Update and continually maintain project activity log. Provide updates to internal and external customers as required.
• Maintain project expected completion date for revenue forecasting.
• Monitor project progress and expenses and escalate potential risks to internal stakeholders.
• Manage project to end and validate all elements of SOW have been completed. Execute all project closure activities.

Ce Que Vous Allez Faire

• Gérer les projets assignés. Les projets se composent de petit projet de volume petit à moyen et de gros projet de moyen à grand.
• Gérer plusieurs projets de différentes tailles simultanément sur une base quotidienne.
• Examiner et valider la portée des travaux, la nomenclature et le budget de mise en œuvre du projet.
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec nos départements internes et participer aux réunions de projets.
• Communiquer avec les équipes internes, les clients, les entrepreneurs généraux et les sous-traitants pour confirmer les disponibilités et la livraison des pièces, la disponibilité du site et des ressources.
• Créer des estimations de base pour les ressources internes et externe lorsque nécessaire.
• Solliciter des soumissions des sous-contractants pour des travaux sollicitant leurs services et attribuer les projets selon notre politique d’attribution.
• Générer des demandes de bons de commande pour le travail des sous-contractants, la location de plateformes élévatrices et de divers matériaux. Distribuer les bons de commande et s’assurer de les fermer dans le système.
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le centre de distribution de Johnson Controls pour obtenir l’état de la disponibilité des pièces, planifier les dates d’expédition et remédier à tout écart. Faire le suivi des expéditions et confirmer la livraison sur site.
• Faciliter le processus d’autorisation des travaux, normalement acquis par d’autres.
• Assigner et céduler les techniciens et sous-traitants de Sensormatic. Le chargée de projet veillera à ce que la planification maximise l’efficacité, que le carnet des commandes soit à jour et de la conformité à toutes les exigences en matière de santé et de sécurité au travail.
• Créer et distribuer la documentation pour un projet aux installateurs assignés et diriger la réunion du lancement du projet pour passer en revue la documentation.
• Maintenir et mettre à jour en permanence le journal des activités des projets. Fournir des mises à jour aux clients internes et externes au besoin.
• Maintenir à jour la date d’achèvement prévue du projet pour la prévision des revenus.
• Surveiller l’avancement des projets et les dépenses et aviser rapidement les parties internes des risques de hausses de coûts.
• Gérer le projet jusqu’à la fin et valider que tous les éléments des documents d’installation ont été complété. Exécuter toutes les activités de clôture de projet.
