We are building a robust supply chain solution that enables brands around the world to sell to customers across bordersin turn reach consumers in other part of the world in a cheap, fast, and efficient way.

We manage the post checkout experience for global commerce transactions so that a customer can get their order quickly, without little friction, through a managed global supply chain. Our platform and software integrates directly into sales channels likesuch as Shopify, enabling visibility into order management, inventory management, managing shipping and pricing across geographies.

Fusing technology with best-in-class supply chain processes, we are solving complex problems to enable cross-border e-commerce.

We’ve just raised a round with a prestigiousan exciting group of investors and we are excited to bring on a Director of Operations to take our growth to the next level.

What you’ll be doing:
• As Director of Operations your goal is to drive operations excellence by using data- driven processes and tools to build scalable operations. In doing so, you will be given a lot of freedom and responsibility, as well as guidance and coaching, in understanding how to best achieve that goal.
• You will lead continuous process improvement initiatives and assess network infrastructure to ensure Mayple executes quality service, efficiently, cost-effectively and, most importantly, withcreates a world-class customer experience.
• You will be responsible for monitoring and improving overall productivity while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
• You will guard the “front line”, in ensuring the highest standard of Mayple quality by: designing the right processes and metrics for shipments to move “on-time” and resolving exceptionsexceptions resolved quickly and appropriately.
• You will be responsible for developing and meeting internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery.
• You will sServe as the primary relationship manager for internal and external partners in your area such as Fulfillment Service Providers, Freight Teams, 3PLpl partners and other service providers.

Strategic Responsibilities
• You will allow Mayple to decouple scale and headcount, . lLeveraginge data and working with the product team to implement software to establish the best processes and controls for all parts of the shipment lifecycle
• You will work across with management to design the right metrics that empower your gateway team to deliver great performance
• You will empower your team to prioritize and align on key initiatives, experiment with the best ways to drive growth, and maintain high on-the-job motivation.
• You will work with Sales to design and iterate on effective communication feedback loops to ensure client needs are met.
• You will act as a strategic consultant to your brand counterparts, product & engineering, and the operations excellence team on network supply chain operations and your regional gateway network operations strategy.

What you'll need:
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in day-to-day execution and process improvement, including leading managers
• Experience managing the end-to-end customer lifecycle and working with sales teams to understand and cater to the customer experience and lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability building and implementing cross-functional, complex processes
• Strategic vision and ground floor execution
• Excitement to manage relations and create a best-in-class operational structure
• Hands-on, process-oriented, structured thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
