Lee’s Theatre program focuses on equipping students in each discipline of theatre to become effective theatrical storytellers. The successful candidate will be expected to mentor students in design, technology, and production protocols. Courses include theatrical design, technical theatre, scenic design and lighting design. Other potential coursework is possible depending on the candidate’s expertise. The faculty member will teach 6 hours per semester as well as serve as a lighting or scenic designer/supervisor on university theatre productions. Additionally, they will mentor student designers, advise the university on equipment acquisition and maintenance, help promote and recruit for the degree programs, and other service as needed.
