As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you create sustainable and profitable relationships with customers by helping them to succeed.
In this role, you are accountable for all sales activities from lead generation through closing in their sales territory.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities Relationship Development:
Increase competitive advantage and drive customer satisfaction by building trust and developing partnership relationships.
Contribute in every customer interaction (primarily the phone call) by working together with customers and internal teams to develop beneficial solutions for their business.
Provide higher and differentiating value not by what you sell - but by 'How' you sell.
Collaborates (with) and orchestrates the broader internal network.
Targets:
Meet/exceed IOP for sales and margin.
Use available resources and specialists to help achieve targets.
Develop awareness / sales in the VWR Private Label range to increase margin.
Business Development:
Drive new and existing opportunities by leading customer accounts appropriately to improve number of valuable phone interactions.
Make outbound calls to build opportunities for selling the Avantor portfolio of products.
Understand customer profile, be able to identify trends and opportunities that will generate sales.
Should keep up to date with world best practice in Inside-sales (sales and procurement) as adopted by other organizations and share with team and customers Apply Avantor Resources:
Use local and global cross-functional contacts, our CRM database to handle customer relationships, interactions and information that will increase effectiveness and aid sales.
Planning/Forecasting:
Plan, forecast and achieve objectives and Key Performance Indicators across accounts, using pre-call planning for increased effectiveness.
Strategy Implementation:
Demonstrate strategic agility in approach to customers and projects (solutions must be tailored to meet individual customer needs).
Implement agreed strategies across defined accounts while maintaining and developing existing business.
Experience Required BA/BSc or equivalent in a Science or Business field (or confirmed understanding of the laboratory environment / Working towards qualification) 2
years of experience in a complex sales environment where there is a solution based selling approach A track record of verifiable sales success driving growth with a consultative, strategic selling approach Business-to-business sales experience Experience / a scientific background with proven ability to effectively use best in class selling processes and technology platforms including CRM Tools Experience in working in a fast paced, targeted environment routinely interacting with customers, manufacturers and colleagues Further Information:
