• Ability to apply Project Management methodologies, processes and tools towards the most effective management of projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP) and Traditional and Agile SDLC
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners on complex processes
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships and work effectively with IT Business Partners, clients, staff and vendors
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Business Analysis certification (BACP) preferred

This individual will participate in launch meetings and brainstorming sessions for a variety of brand marketing projects and is responsible for timely coordination with design and copy, on-time project management and find new ways to improve branding processes and efficiencies including streamlining of content, out-of-box thinking, effective process and improvements and insightful advice for internal partners, agency, and staff. They will work to understand the goals and objectives, business needs, and metrics for success to strategically craft an unmistakably IEEE brand experience that will meet the needs of the business. The incumbent in this role will directly supervise external graphic design resources as needed on a variety of branding projects such as logo creation, branding question, template development, etc.

The incumbent will also lead strategic decisions about governance of the IEEE brand in partnership with the Senior Manager. This will involve a deep understanding of the brand, its value, and the legal, financial, and social implications of governance policies and guidelines. The incumbent will be consulted on proper use throughout advertising, promotions, publications, marketing, social media, and other environments in which the brand appears. This role will contribute to brand strategy discussions, drive the development of brand standards, usage guidelines, and brand resources as necessary.

Additionally, this individual will plan and execute analysis to understand customer perceptions of the brand, and to determine key strengths and opportunities on a regularly determined basis. By using data, the incumbent will make strategic decisions about the way our brand is represented. This includes regular assessment and monitoring of brand compliance and remediation plans to ensure we maintain consistency. This also involves recommending new identified brand resources, suggesting items to sunset, and providing education and training to staff and volunteers via appropriate forums as necessary to support the brand.
This position typically reports to a Senior Manager and has no direct reports.

• Contribute to overarching brand governance strategy, execute on established plans, and provide day to day management of brand inquiries issues and opportunities in addition to the potential of other marketing/social media projects.
• Management of all brand inquiries received and their timely reply.
• Ability to project manage all key inquiries and successfully execute on time and on budget.
• Some design experience is preferred given the potential department needs.
• Management and updating of key brand documents and FAQ’s.

• Provide guidance around IEEE brand positioning, visual identity, tone of voice, brand experience and architecture.
• Promote and achieve compliance with brand standards by providing guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners for projects involving all stakeholder audiences and channels.
• Execute branding communication initiatives, coordinate, and ensure consistency of messaging both internally and externally.
• Employ an integrated communications lens to all campaigns and projects to drive business objectives.
• Coordinate with team members of all levels to maintain consistent information and meet timely deadlines.
