The post holder is part of the IB Global Professional Development Delivery team which manages the training... service received by IB schools whilst ensuring that the service is cost effective and efficient. They will coordinate all activities related to on-demand workshops including collaborating with IB staff and serving as a first line of support for the workshop model. They will also manage various tasks in support of other delivery models as assigned.
Job Duties:
• Review and approve inquiries and applications for On-Demand workshop events.
• Serve as primary point of contact for schools throughout the on-demand event application and delivery process.
• Primary point of contact for school/event coordinators throughout the on-demand event planning and delivery process.
• Complete all required tasks to ensure the successful delivery of multiple and concurrent on-demand events
• Maintain all On-Demand related data and reports in Salesforce
• Manage and update the REGIS registration system.
• Maintain and update master copies of all school and leader communication templates.
• Support stakeholders with systems access issues
• Serve as web team liaison responsible for ensuring accuracy of all regional PDD information on the IBO.org website.
• Advise on, advocate for and draft updates to all on-demand workshop related documents such as policies, guidelines, process (SOP), and term & conditions.
• Where assigned, serve as the department’s Salesforce superuser by providing training to new staff, submitting Service Now tickets on behalf of the department to resolve system issues that impact workflow, and conducts UAT testing for organization-wide system updates
• Serve as Tier 2 contact for IB Answers for On-Demand workshops
• Respond to IB Staff and stakeholder queries about the On-Demand workshop model and application process.
• Provide accurate reporting on On-Demand workshop performance.
• Review Quality Assurance Form (QAF) results of On-Demand events and reports on trends.
• Create, analyze and present customized reports, as requested
• Support outsourced provider contracting, event reconciliation and invoicing, as assigned.
• Provide coverage to other team members.
• As per instruction from management, support global and regional projects and initiatives.
• Timely escalations of issues to team leadership
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree level or equivalent experience
• 4 years of experience in customer relationship management, event management and/or the education sector.
• Proficiency in Spanish
• Available for travel (up to 15%)
• Proven communications skills (written and verbal) with external stakeholders/customers is required.
• Event planning skills and/or certification is desirable.
• Understanding of the international education sector/IB an asset

• Manages the Income & Expense of the requested portions of the PDD business for the region, in collaboration with the Event Logistics Manager for the expense management of events. Provides regular and accurate I&E reports of Requested business to Senior PD Delivery Manager.

• Leads the processes for requested events ensuring the product meets schools’ needs.
• Collects and analyses relevant data in collaboration with the Scheduling Manager to understand the training needs in the region.

• Oversees the event approval/confirmation process of the PD Delivery Coordinator.

• Provides accurate & timely reporting on events regarding all aspects of the Requested portions of the PDD business.
• Reviews Requested workshop QAF results, addresses any issues directly, and reports on high level trends.
• Review Requested event forecast reports to ensure PD is on track for attaining participant targets and alert PD Delivery Senior Manager of any events that are in danger of not performing on target.
• Monitors team KPIs related to service delivery and proposes operational adjustments to improve team performance
• Responsible for the accuracy of Requested related data and reports in Salesforce
• Ownership of the Requested Requestor Portal for the regional service.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in customer relationship and/or professional development business management.

• Strong understanding and/or interest in the international education market for the region

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) Coordinator reports directly to the building principal and functions as a Department Chair for IB at Granby High School. The IBDP Coordinator also acts as the official liaison between the school and the NPS district as well as between the school and the International Baccalaureate Organization. The coordinator implements and oversees the Programme Practices and Standards as set forth by IBO to ensure that the students are able to fulfill all requirements for the program and those for graduation from NPS. The IB Coordinator is ultimately responsible for finding and registering IB teachers for appropriate training and to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to teach the IB courses effectively. The coordinator also oversees and maintains a yearly balanced budget. The IBDP Coordinator must possess the qualities outlined in the IB Learner Profile: Inquirer, Knowledgeable, Thinker, Communicator, Principled, Open-Minded, Caring, Risk-taker, Balanced, and Reflective. The IBDP Coordinator is a critical part of the Instruction Leadership Team (ILT). Additional school-related or program-related administrative duties/responsibilities may arise when needed to implement and oversee the IBDP properly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRED)
• Bachelor's degree with preference given to individuals with some leadership experience, and/or higher degree.
• Must have at least three years of successful teaching or counseling experience.

NATURE OF POSITION
• Oversee every aspect of the IBDP for Norfolk Public Schools and report to the principal at Granby High, the Executive Director of High Schools, the NPS School Board, and any other party that requests IBDP results within NPS.
• Inform the community and recruit rising students for the NPS Pre-IB Program at Granby High
• Develop/share literature/materials to promote the IBDP.
• Provide input on the NPS High School Specialty application and related materials needed for students to apply to the preliminary program.
• Arrange and /conduct assessments for students interested in the program in cooperation with other Specialty Programs and the office of Executive Director.
• Set up orientation for students entering the NPS Pre-IB Program and the IBDP.
• Assist in placement of any transfer student from another IB World School to ensure continuity of education for the student.
• Collaborate with department heads and administrative staff to align program courses/curriculum and assessments to ensure IB standards and practices are met in all IB courses. This includes collaborating with department chairs and administration on the development of the master schedule.
• Conduct data review sessions with IB subject teachers to review internal and external assessment results and assist subject teams with vertical alignment of courses.
• Assist students in course selection and registration for exams.
• Counsel students regarding academic and personal challenges.
• Arrange program for IBDP graduation, IBDP Information Night, IBDP Orientation, and any other program related to IBDP.
• Collaborate with counseling department to help students with personal and academic counseling needs.
• Oversee the creation, revision, and implementation of IB Policies and documents: Academic Honesty Policy, Assessment policy, Language Policy, Learning Support policy, and School Philosophy.
• Locate and set up IBDP training for all IBDP staff; conduct workshops/training related to IBDP for IBDP staff as well as the entire faculty at Granby High.
• Purchase supplies, instructional materials, equipment needed for effective implementation of the program.
• Communicate with IBO regarding student needs, billing, exam registration, staff training, exam results, students' college choices, and any other need relating to the program.
• Prepare the examination schedule and ensure an appropriate testing environment with trained invigilators and advise our AP Testing Coordinator of any conflicts in examinations.
• Ship/Upload required examination materials to IBO for all students.
• Oversee the IBDP budget; use purchasing card for purchases related to the program; request checks to pay for IB annual fee, exam fees, enquiry upon results fees; IB Mid Atlantic (IBMA) fee; renew subscriptions to ManageBac, Turnitin, and other online resources for the staff (InThinking).
• Attend Coordinators' meetings through IBMA; collaborate with regional coordinators to conduct student or staff workshops.
• As the EE Coordinator, provide or oversee instruction and supervision of the Extended Essay process or designate an EE Coordinator; assign supervisors; assist students with choosing topics and EE subjects and with meeting deadlines; assist with authentication of work
• Act as the CAS Coordinator and Advisor or designate a staff member to guide students in planning, reflecting, and completing their CAS experiences and project, as required by the IBDP
• Guide teachers and students in the submission of assessments to IBO
• Participate in the Instructional Leadership Team meetings with other department chairs and administrative staff to help make decisions for the program and for the school.
