My name is Danny, and I do a lot of work with all kinds of football statistics. At the moment, I have to copy a lot of data manually from various websites into my excel databases. So I would like you to create multiple scraping tools to fulfil all my needs. If you are able to produce a user-friendly application that contains all the scraping tools, which I can use to execute requests at my... will, this would be a bonus so let me know if you are able to do this. I have split this project into 4 stages which is work involving the 4 individual target websites. It’s difficult for me to estimate total time of the project as I have never had such work undertaken before.

Real time scraping will not be necessary for this project, although I have plans for another project if this one is successful which will involve real time data. Ideally I would like to work with the same person, so please let me know if you have the capability for this also, for future reference.

Some of the scraping requests will have difficult parameters, so you will need to be very experienced.

The data you will be pulling from all these websites needs to combine together at some point, and since the team names may/will be spelt differently on the various websites you will need to be able to create a way to index/match everything up.

Examples of the websites of the four websites I need to scrape are:

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/

https://www.oddsportal.com/

https://www.flashscore.co.uk/

https://wyscout.com/

The first three are free websites, the bottom is a paid service so you will need to navigate the log-in page for this part also.

If you think you are suitable for this project, please get in touch with me and we can discuss further
