The Freelance Fashion Assistant works with multiple facets of the magazine working mainly with the fashion editorial department. The hire has daily tasks that include coordinating logistics with designers and brands, preparing for photo shoots (story boards, run throughs), occasional administrative work to research content for print and assisting on editorial photoshoots. The freelance assistant works primarily with the Assistant Fashion and Accessories Editors, but alongside the directors as well. Candidates must have great attention to detail, be very organized, and be able to multitask. Candidates should have a “can do” attitude and a great work ethic.
Requirements:
College Graduates only
Full-time - Monday-Friday
MUST have great problem-solving skills
MUST be familiar with all Microsoft, Adobe, etc.
MUST have past Magazine/PR internships
Comfortable with working with a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the industry
Organized
Hardworking
Self Sufficient
Job Type: Full-time / 40-hour week
Job Type: Contract 6 months or 1,000 hours
Experience:
• Fashion Closet: 1 year (Preferred)
• Administrative: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
