At all times our will receive pre-qualified leads so you never have to cold call. You will support your client in creating their dream voyage, from trip design right through to travel! You will liaise with hotels... tour operators and airlines. Your love of travel, superior organizational skills, and your desire to provide an exceptional customer experience is what ensures your success in this role! Day to day:
• Achieve sales targets by drawing on your proven performance to convert enquiries into bookings, utilizing effective qualifying, follow up, and quote management processes
• Ensure all reservations are processed with careful attention to detail, maintaining administrative tasks including documents, managing schedule changes, and processing airline tickets
• Uphold Goway Travel’s exceptional standard of service throughout all interactions such as email, telephone, and online chat
• Develop long-lasting connections with your customers, creating referrals and repeat business
• Be a true ambassador for Goway Travel and represent values at all times
• Utilize preferred vendors to provide best costs to customers and to maximize profits

• You have demonstrated a minimum of two years success in travel sales
• You love to travel and have travelled internationally beyond North America and the Caribbean
• Your drive for success shines through in your performance

Job Description...
Reporting to the VP Finance to oversee all accounting related to our air operations as well as overall company receivables and cash flow. Needing strong leadership and mentoring skills, to lead your team and monitor all policies and procedures for your assigned areas. This is a hands on position working on processes and technologies to ensure complete and accurate accounting for Goway Travel Ltd.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage a team of 5 accounting analysts
• Ensure timely collections of receivables, liaising with clients when needed
• Oversee clients' accounts reconciliation, receivable, collections and reporting activity
• Assist in month end close responsibilities, performing account reconciliations, revenue, cost allocations and monthly accrual entries
• Assist in the annual budget preparation
• Play key role in back-office system maintenance, future implementations.
• Maintain accounting procedures
• Perform and report on sales, revenue, cost analysis to drive business decisions
• Performance appraisal of team members
• Provide training to new and existing staff
• Monitor and maintain KPI's and work closely with senior management to meet business goals
• Work closely with external auditors for annual audit and prepare schedules
• Responsible for preparing and filing monthly GST/HST tax return KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Professional Accounting designation, or working towards
• A minimum 3-5 yrs. proven experience in a managerial role
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, financial, and accounting skills
• Minimum 3 years travel industry experience.
• A strong understanding GDS and ARC and BSP reconciliation processes
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills; ability to coach and motivate staff to deliver results
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, client-focused thinking, and ability to work with management at all levels
• Knowledge of implementing back-office systems & setting-up accounting procedures
• Able to demonstrate a history of problem solving and process improvement
