• Recommend new financing and/or restructuring as necessary for "criticized" assets to maximize DFC's opportunity for full collection of amounts owed.
• Support all phases and activities related to executing funded and unfunded risk-share platforms.
• Interface with the institutional investors and other participants in the co-lending platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Advises student, parents and staff on the eligibility of loans, loan types, how to apply for loans, aggregate loan limits and other issues regarding loans processes and procedures.
• Download Entrance/Exit Loan Counseling reports and import the counseling into Powerfaids or a designated delivery system in coordination with the Default Manager.
• Assists the Default Manager and other Financial Aid Counselors with all Entrance and Exit Interviews.
• Import and upload the Loan Master Promissory Notes (MPN) from COD (Common Origination and Disbursement) as well as the Direct Loan website and reflect changes in Powerfaids.
• Originate and disburse federal and private loans. Verify enrollment of students, aggregate loan totals, and eligibility of loans for students and parents. Originate loan promissory notes and prepare for transmission to the department of education and or guarantor.

• Processes Direct PLUS loans. Gather information and consent from parent applications and assess eligibility via COD lending online.

• Processes financial aid applications and determines eligibility and award accordingly.

• Requests U.S. Dept. Of Education Verification documents and complete the Verification Process according to federal guidelines.
• Responsible for data entry for assigned students to include application processing, ISIR corrections, award notifications and revisions, if required.
• Coordinates and supervises the award notification process in absence of other financial aid counselors.
• Ensures that all financial aid awarded is credited to student accounts in a timely manner.

Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures as well as consistent, effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services, including the qualifying package of services, and insurance products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed agreed upon mortgage

production goals.
• Maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of the Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, as well

as secondary market investor's guidelines utilized by Truist.
• Adhere to and comply fully with any and all Truist policies and procedures related to internal and external

rules and regulations, particularly those established by State and Federal law.
• Provide mortgage clients sound mortgage advice based on a full understanding of client needs as well as

Truist Mortgage products and their benefits.
• Consistently execute on Truist's referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other bank

solutions for deepening client opportunities.
• Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow-up as determined

through quality control or post-closing review.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year(s) experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of

residential property types
• Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Possesses solid interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role including new

or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related studies or equivalent financial sales experience.
• Two or more years of experience in residential mortgage lending with solid knowledge of the local market and regulations.
• Previous sales awards and leadership positions.
