As the first-ever giving day created to celebrate our unique Catholic heritage, #iGiveCatholic inspires faithful stewards to "Give Catholic" on #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving. In 2022, #iGiveCatholic collected over $18.5 million on #GivingTuesday from donors in all 50 states plus 19 countries outside the U.S. for 42 participating dioceses.Essential Job Functions:Social Media• In coordination with National Director, strategize, schedule, create and post content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn.• Manage relationships with audience including monitoring comments, liking and sharing tagged posts, responding to messages, inviting subscribers to like/follow, etc.• Work with outside digital media consultant to execute influencer campaign• Follow, understand, and report on engagement metrics.Graphic Design• Create graphic marketing and promotional materials, as needed.• Design Emails and/or Newsletters for Constant Contact, as needed, with content provided by #iGiveCatholic team.• #iGiveCatholic logo, branding, and key assets are provided by another source and are NOT under the scope of this position.Additional duties and responsibilities may be added or changed as necessary.Estimated Scope of Work:• January-July: 5-10 hours/month• August-October: 10-12 hours/month• November: 20 to 25 hours (including several hours on the actual Giving Day)• December: 15 hoursProficiency required:Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite, Twitter, Hootsuite (or equivalent), Canva, Constant Contact, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, & Email.Additional Requirements:• Understanding of the Catholic church and ability to authentically communicate to a Catholic audience.• Understand, support, and embrace the mission of #iGiveCatholic to celebrate and encourage generosity in the U.S. Catholic church community.• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a team.• Excellent project and time management skills• Some availability to communicate by email and in virtual or phone meetings with #iGiveCatholic team during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern)Compensation: $25 per hour, payable monthly after approval of submitted invoice.
