WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Create and maintain the social media calendar and track creative briefs for content and campaign assets
• Work with creative services, video production and licensors to create exciting content for social media channels
• Consistently strategize ways to grow followers, increase engagement, and ultimately drive revenue per platform, ensuring commonality between them
• Brainstorm and execute video content in tandem with photographer, content producer, and community engagement specialist
• Schedule and natively upload daily content on all social media channels
• Live-post from events and think quickly on the spot to create engaging content
• Responsible for social media reporting and tracking; including campaign and monthly insights, as well as learnings and takeaways for further growth
• Partner with copywriting and social media counterparts to ensure all external communications and copy are on brand and edited
• Coordinate and execute contest prizing and fulfillment for giveaways
• Coordinate and create influencer-driven content and submit contracts and invoicing to legal and finance where applicable
• Report on platform changes with the team and adjust as needed
• Manage user-generated content; gain user approvals, approve and schedule UGC
• Stay up to date on content creators and Loungefly affiliates

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications or equivalent preferred
• 4+ years in digital marketing, social media, or relative field either in-house or agency side
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, preferred but not necessary
• Experience with social platform insights (Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc)
• Fashion or Consumer Products industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
• Strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, and take feedback
• Strong ability to multi-task and seamlessly move from project to project

What You’ll Do

This is an influential role instrumental in the effective management of timely and successful monthly, quarterly and year-end closing of a multinational company. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Controller, this position will be responsible for overseeing multiple areas of the accounting department including general ledger, inventory, accounts payable, credit & collections and payroll. This role will also assist in various other accounting policy projects and analytics as assigned. The Assistant Controller will also help drive a timely and accurate consolidation process, drive SOX compliant internal controls as well as process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated previous accounting management experience working in a fast moving, high volume multinational company.

• Oversee the general ledger team which includes tasks like fixed assets, prepaids, corporate credit cards and other general ledger related analytics and review
• Oversee the payroll department to include high level management of processes and improvements. Ability to action on new initiatives and adjustments timely and with a high level of confidentiality
• Oversee the inventory department to include review of month end inventory reserves, COGS, freight asset & expense, and various other inventory related accounting journal entries
• Oversee the credit & collections department to include review of month end accounts receivable, allowance accruals, bad debt reserves and various other credit related accounting journal entries
• Support the A/P teams as needed
• Lead efforts to improve the accounting processes of our international operations and ensure SOX 404b compliance
• Review monthly key account analytics and reconciliations, as assigned
• Help the VP, Corporate Controller where needed to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant backup process in place for every critical operation
• Key member to implement and monitor month, quarter and year-end close
• Work directly with our external audit partner on a quarterly basis as it relates to the key areas under review
• Responsible for problem solving and implementing process efficiency where possible
• Work with the VP, Corporate Controller to increase operational efficiencies; implement, document, and manage processes as required for operations; assist with special projects
• Collaborate across departments to perform ad-hoc analytics to assist with the development and progression of the business

Salary Information

The Asset Protection Agent supports general operations throughout the Funko HQ Retail store. This position is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, buildings, employees, customers, and all visitors. This position may provide support across HQ and the Retail store.

This role reports to the SVP, Sales and will oversee strategic expansion of the brand through existing and new retail partners ranging from small-scale operators to mall-based chains to the very largest in the business (Amazon, Walmart, Target) with an eye to achieving sales and profit objectives.

Candidates must have 10+ years experience managing a sizable wholesale business in fashion, accessories or related field and be familiar with the role physical inventory plays in a Sales organization. 5+ years direct management of a sales team is also required, with demonstrated ability to drive sales.

Must come with a strategic, brand-building mindset regarding the process of sales and be well-versed in maintaining a sales pipeline alongside associated reporting tools and metrics.

Direct experience managing a P&L is ideal; at a minimum candidate must be familiar with, and comfortable using standard financial reporting terms.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated an ability to work with a variety of functional teams in order to achieve their objectives.

This role is based in Burbank, CA with an expectation for successful candidates to be in office 2 days per week minimum.

What You’ll Do

Manage a total book of business of up to $250MM

Own the sales strategy for the Loungefly brand, executing on opportunities for growth within the existing customer base while formulating strategies for areas of future growth including new sales channels and product lines

Work closely with the GM, heads of Merchandising, Planning and other key partners to set and update strategic direction for the Sales Organization

Coach, develop and lead a geographically-disperse Loungefly Sales team to achieve their full potential and deliver against concrete targets. Set and communicate clear priorities and goals and translate them into actionable and pragmatic deliverables.

Work with salespeople in the wider Funko organization to establish and achieve targets for accounts owned by that group

Grow revenue in all accounts annually by ensuring that all opportunities are being explored and sales staff are regularly educating clients on upcoming product releases

Deliver regular sales updates to wide audiences including C-suite, demonstrating excellence in written and verbal communication

Play an active role in the Loungefly Leadership Team to foster cross-functional communication amongst peers and support a positive work environment across the business

Travel with direct reports for skills assessment, mentoring, personal development, training and to remain current on customer issues.

Analyzes POS and maintains industry contacts to stay aware of trends that affect the business

Maintain professional and technical knowledge on best practices in Sales techniques and opportunities; identifying and potentially delivering sales training needs as required.

Builds Retail Strategies/Programs with clients by working with Merchandising and Product Development on exclusives and new product lines, and with Marketing to develop programs to support key clients and launches

Partners with Operations and Planning to establish, deliver and monitor KPI’s and associated metrics that evaluate the productivity and overall health of the business

Manages customer profitability to align with KPIs through an active partnership with Finance

Work with VP of Business Development to ensure that key customer sales targets are translated into actionable merchandising plans to meet these goals

Ensure that all opportunities are being explored and sales staff are regularly educating clients on upcoming product releases

What You’ll Bring

10 years’ experience in a sales role successfully meeting and beating goals in a relevant consumer products industry (fashion or accessories preferred)

5+ years leading a sales team covering a business of at least $50MM: setting and communicating expectations; monitoring performance and setting course corrections; training and motivating staff to meet their greatest potential
