Job Summary
Responsible for handling real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing documents for closings, and completing settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures. Position Overview: Meridian Escrow Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and growth-minded Escrow Manager/Escrow Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the escrow process and ensure that each transaction is handled efficiently and accurately. The Escrow Manager/Escrow Officer will report directly to the company's President and will work collaboratively with our experienced team of escrow professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the escrow process, including preparing escrow instructions, opening and maintaining escrow accounts, and coordinating with all parties involved in the transaction
• Review and analyze all necessary documents, including purchase agreements, title reports, and loan documents, to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies

Essential job duties and requirements would initially include...
• Assistance in answering phones and receiving guests to our office
• Processing mail and deliveries
• Reviewing purchase contracts and inputting data into our software
• Generating forms for clients
• Verifying accuracy of forms
• Disbursing opening packages to clients
• Reviewing returned documents and inputting appropriate information
• Ordering various reports, demands, insurance, and other items pursuant to the real estate transaction process
• Working with lenders to begin the loan approval process
• Uploading obtained/returned items to cloud-based system in an accurate manner with great attention to detail
Key skills needed to be successful in this environment:
• Exceptional interpersonal and phone skills
• Direct knowledge of the escrow process
• Attention to detail and accuracy in a stressful environment
• Ability to move from task to task efficiently through various types of tasks
• Experience and familiarity working with DocuSign
• Ability to efficiently work in a paperless environment
Experience required:
• Minimum of 1+ years of escrow processing experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows & Office
• Experience with Qualia settlement software a plus
