Your Team

The Discovery Team’s work directly impacts our users, enabling them to find relevant courses that will help achieve their goals and radically change their lives. Dedicated to the success of the whole team, you will join a team of four engineers that value pair programming and a collaborative work environment.

Headquartered in the heart of Cambridge’s Technology Square, we’re currently fully remote.

You will
• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and UX to ensure projects meet business objectives and accessbility standards
• Support test and deployment of new consumer-facing products and features
• Share your knowledge with team members through mentoring, code reviews, pair programming, and presentations

You have
• 5+ years of overall development experience, including full-stack work and at least a year with ReactJS
• Affinity for the front-end, developing features that directly impact the user
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Prior mentoring experience, helping early-career engineers achieve their goals
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Preferred
• Experience with Python, Django
• Experience with A/B Testing (we use Optimizely!)
