Responsibilities
• Lead thermal, and mechanical engineering qualification. Test server and switch cooling solutions, and under standard and corner case conditions for efficiency, reliability and operation.
• Develop and verify manufacturing process with suppliers.
• Design, review, test, and select rack and rack components.
• Collaborating with various multi-functional hardware, software and network teams to develop hardware validation tools (system network monitoring, data path traffics, server activities, …) and automation processes in defined network topologies
• Own the debug and root causes of issues encountered in large scale platform deployment and coordinate with vendors to drive successful resolution, including but not limiting to analysis of crash dumps, dmesg, mce & SEL logs
• Write test plans, technical specifications and manufacturing test coverage/processes
• Design, develop and validate integrated hyperscale rack products with multiple ODM vendors, maximizing innovative technologies: DDR5, PCIe5, 100G/400G TOR switches, power distribution system (DC/AC power shelf, PDU, ATS or busbar), NVMe Flash storage, RDMA NICs
• Develop software test scripts, tools, benchmarks, automation script to monitor and to validate hardware reliability, performance target and perform interoperability testing datapath between servers and SONiC network switches with different Linux and ONIE distributions for eBay applications in data centers

Job Requirements
• 10+ years work experience, with BS in Mechanical Engineering a must, M.S. degree a plus.
• Solid understanding of datacenter architecture and typical cooling and operating conditions.
• Solid proven record in hardware development and sustaining hardware OEM, ODM or JDM products at large scale.
• Prior mechanical / thermal modeling experience is required.
• Must have exposure to BIOS, BMC, NIC & server networking and Linux at the level of an expert user in most of these areas.
• Scripting in Bash, Python or similar scripting languages is desirable.
• Direct hand-on experience on system thermal; shock & vibration, RVI test methodology, including use of 3rd party labs.
• Direct experiences working with manufacturing data center network and server racks, PDUs, and power shelves.

Position ideally based in San Jose, CA with minimal travel required.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.
$149,200 - $234,850

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Job Description

The Accounting team in Austin, Texas rolls up to the Shared Services Center which is in charge of accounting for more than 60 global entities (and growing). Working with our international accounting counterparts, we excel at maintaining the highest quality of accounting and compliance in our daily activities.

We are looking for an Indirect Tax Compliance (ITC) Accounting Manager to join the team.
Responsibilities
• Supporting the larger ITC team in the area of tax compliance and accounting while coordinating with regional, functional teams to ensure consistency and standardization of global processes.
• Review of consolidated working papers supporting various global filings, including VAT filings for several EMEA entities and regions, Sales and Use tax filings for our U.S. operations, and various other, global, indirect tax obligations.
• Lead projects and implement new processes and controls in response to changes in the business environment, such as new tax requirements, changes in technology standards, and internal process changes.
• Leading the regular monthly close process as well as externally facing statutory reporting activities.
• Maintaining world-class reconciliations of all G/L accounts and integrity of financial statements at a transaction level.
• Supervising compliance related activities performed by various third-party support teams
Experience and Relevant Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA / ACCA, CIMA, JD is a plus.
• 8+ years general ledger accounting and indirect tax compliance experience is required.
• Experience leading projects, driving process improvements and operational efficiencies. Experience in automation technologies preferred.
• Strong organizational abilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
• Great teammate and ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated, engaged by a fast-paced environment and handling challenges and tight deadlines with ease.

The SOX Technology Senior Auditor assists in providing assurance as to the effectiveness of internal controls within IT systems, applications and tools supporting the business areas in scope for SOX. The SOX Technology Senior Auditor will work under the supervision of SOX PMO management and interact frequently with process and control owners to ensure the global SOX program is compliant.

Responsibilities
• Guide process and control owners in identifying key general computing and application-specific controls and reports for new processes. Work with process owners to ensure timely review and updates to process/system documentation and controls for existing processes.
• Coordinate, facilitate and perform SOX testing as assigned meeting internal SOX PMO deadlines, working with stakeholders, including but not limited to business owners, external audit, internal audit and outsourced contractors.
• Evaluate IT control deficiencies, including determining aggregation risk, and coordinate with business and technology leaders to remediate identified exceptions.
• Review and analyze attestations and audit reports (SSAE18 and Internal Audit reports);
• Assist in the preparation of dashboards on SOX program status and results for presentation to executive management and Audit Committee.

• Stay current on new technical literature applicable to the internal control process (e.g., PCAOB guidance, SEC, COSO, COBIT, etc.) and abreast of emerging trends and leading practices around internal controls.

Job Requirements

Required
• BA/BS in Business, IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of audit experience performing SOX compliance and/or operational/IT audits with an emphasis on internal controls.
