We are seeking an Administrative and Events Coordinator who is
organized, efficient, culturally adaptable and enjoys a wide range
of administrative tasks supporting university research center
operations as well as sponsor- and university events. In this role,
you will work collaboratively with multiple dynamic research,
event, and administrative teams and provide comprehensive
administrative support to ensure efficient execution of tasks,
programming, and events. You will support the Senior Managing
Officer of the Digital Transformation and Innovation Center (DTIC)
sponsored by PwC as well as the DTIC Faculty Director.

Your core responsibilities will include:
• Supporting compliance, reporting, financial and other
parameters set forth in various contracts and grants.
• Collaborating with research managers and various key business
partners across the University.
• Supporting researchers, interns, and colleagues to ensure
targets and goals are met in a timely manner.
• Assisting in monitoring center accounts, project progress and
results of funded projects, including acquiring regular updates and
status reports, as well as providing additional guidance or support
as needed in order to meet the obligations and goals set forth for
the projects.
• Providing high-level administrative support to the Senior
Managing Officer and Faculty Director, including but not limited to
correspondence, reports, calendar maintenance, coordinating
meetings, conferences and seminars with internal and external
constituents of the University as well as PwC, and handling all
expense reporting.
• Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries,
expense reports, and agendas.
• Supporting the development, planning, and implementation of
multiple meetings, public events, conferences, symposia, and other
public-facing and university-wide events and activities.
• Completing a broad variety of financial tasks including expense
reimbursements, purchase of department office supplies and
verification of procurement card purchases
• Maintaining accurate records and knowledge of budget
expenditures, and highlights status, opportunities and
concerns.
• Managing physical space of Center such as general maintenance
and upkeep (including kitchen area and dishes of guests, faculty
and students) of Center facility.

Knowledge and expertise in leading multiple projects with various
timelines, budgets, etc. simultaneously including tracking
mechanisms and reporting tools.

Ability to communicate optimally with a high level of

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in
business administration, technical area or other similar degree
preferred or a combination of education and proven experience from
which comparable knowledge is shown may be considered
• Three (3) years of experience in administrative roles with a
heavy emphasis on event support and coordination. Prior experience
in an academic or non-profit setting preferred.
