Full-Time Preferred, but open to Part-Time candidates!
Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
• Review and interpret physicians' orders for drug therapy
• Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
• Provide patients with pertinent drug information
• Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
• Supervise and maintain records of all medications
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions
• Counsel patients on relevant dietary supplements and over the counter products
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Participate in medication therapy management programs
• Assist with inventory management and order medications
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions from patients
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with inventory management a plus, but not required
• Experience with Computer Rx software a plus, but not required
• Management experience a plus, but not required
Requirements:
• PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active NJ state pharmacy license in good standing
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug therapy, and healthcare regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities. WE PAY 100% OF BENEFITS (besides dental) FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES, MEANING THERE IS NO CONTRIBUTION FROM OUR EMPLOYEES FOR HEALTH INSURANCE!
We also participate in a Safe Harbor 401k. This is a profit sharing retirement account. While our employees can choose to contribute their own funds, the company contributes to full-time employees each year based on wage rate, hours worked, and total company profits available. The company contributes automatically, regardless of whether the employee contributes. Please keep that in mind when evaluating total compensation.

Staffing Considerations:
Unlike some pharmacies, we take staffing and customer service seriously.
This new hire will be one of 5 pharmacists on staff (including compounding pharmacist).
We are sufficiently staffed at all times with overlapping pharmacists to support one another. We also have a drug dispensing robot to minimize busywork. This staffing model provides excellent work-life balance for all our staff members and keeps our service levels optimal.
