Data.gov.uk is a website that provides access to the United Kingdom government's datasets. The website aims to promote transparency and accountability in government by making information about public services, policies, and spending readily available to the public in a user-friendly format. It features thousands of data sets from various government departments, including health, education, crime, environment, and many others. Users can search, download, and reuse datasets in a variety of formats, including CSV, XLS, and JSON. Data.gov.uk also encourages developers and businesses to use government data to create innovative solutions that can benefit society and the economy.

Data.Gov.UK was launched in closed Beta at the start of October 2009 and entered public beta in January 2010. The project is ongoing at the present time.
