Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2024 Summer Manufacturing Planner Intern. In this role, you will proactively support continuous improvement of material flow, inventory management and shop floor control processes to support cost, schedule and quality objectives. You will also support metrics development, dashboards and strategic development & delivery, utilize lean Six Sigma tools to identify, implement and coordinate preventative actions to mitigate performance challenges, and audit support and inventory processes. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment and lean manufacturing.

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree relating to Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Production Management, Manufacturing Management, or Business Management
• Previous experience (or expressed interest) working in an Operations role in a manufacturing environment
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Previous manufacturing/operations experience; understanding of lean manufacturing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel and macros
