Our team is growing!

We're seeking a Part-Time School Based Clinician to join our team in the Fairfield school district, with the potential to become a Full-Time position!

This would be a hybrid position consisting of School Based Outpatient services and services within our Day Treatment Program.

Our School Based Clinicians are an integral part of our team; providing individual therapy for children and adolescents in collaboration with our team of Behavioral Health Professionals. Working at CFK, you will be provided with weekly, in-depth individual supervision and support, and participate in a monthly consultation with our experienced clinical team to learn the latest innovative treatment.

This would be a part-time position, with the potential for full-time, working with students within the Fairfield school district, and follow the school year calendar, including 6 weeks of Extended School Year between July and August.

Qualifications

If you:
• Have a Master's degree in Social Work, or Counseling
• Are a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW-cc or LCSW) or LCPC or LCPC-cc in the state of Maine
• Hold a valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance
• Have experience working with children with mental health challenges
• Are organized and able to prioritize a workload
• Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Come join our amazing BHP team in the Portland public schools!

Working as a School Based Section 28 BHP (Behavioral Health Professional) you'll work one-on-one with a student who has a developmental disability. Our BHP's work right alongside their student in their classroom in partnership with a supervisor and school personnel to teach daily living skills, social skills and coping skills, and work on the goals in the student's individualized plan. At Connections for Kids you'll advance your career while making a lasting difference in the life of a child!

These are 30-35 hour per week positions, Monday through Friday following the school year calendar, with time off for school vacation weeks. They also include a part time Extended School Year program for 5 weeks between July and August with scheduling flexibility during the summer months.

• Have a completed high school diploma or higher,
• Are able to get fingerprinted through the DOE and Ed Tech 1 certification,
• Possess a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance,
