• Stay up to date with Alaskan species, catch methods, and fisheries that Trident Seafoods harvests and produces
• Drive volume and best company returned aligned with corporate goals and expectations by leveraging and analyzing data to guide sales efforts and make informed business decisions
• Manage trade and travel expenses for assigned territory to maximize results.
• Deliver effective product presentations and business reviews (both virtual and in person).
• Negotiate pricing and coordinates on-boarding of new customers within assigned territory.
• Partner with other internal departments (Customer Service, Category Management, R&D, Marketing, Credit, Finance, Supply Chain/Forecasting, Operations, QA and Sales Support) to efficiently and accurately conduct sales transactions.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in Alaskan commodity seafood sales
• Basic accounting skills
• Superior customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Supplier Quality Engineer - Metallic Commodities serves a vital role in working with suppliers in an up-front, preventative mode and also in a problem-solving mode. Collaborates with suppliers and relevant internal functions such as purchasing, engineering, and the plants to guarantee the quality of components from the supply base for new product launches and current production.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work model and can be based out of the Burr Ridge, IL or Racine, WI area.

Responsibilities
• Qualification of potential suppliers and Approval of components – Potential supplier Audit (PSA), business case, Production Part approval Process (PPAP), Interim Recovery Worksheet (IRW), Process Audit (PA), Program Reviews (PR)
• Support for new program launches -- Tech Review, Quality Risk Assessments (QRA)
• Resolution of supplier quality issues and management of supplier quality performance -- SQP management, PIQ/PPM metrics,
• Current product management (CPM) resolutions
• Assure proper nonconformity containment tools application as CSL1/2/3 (Containment Shipping Level) and proper corrective actions to achieve stable supplier conformity.
• Extensive understanding of problem-solving techniques at suppliers (8D, Ishikawa, pareto diagram etc.).
• Support warranty recovery projects -- technical support on warranty claims

Annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $139,000 USD. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required - BSME, BSIE or BSTech.
• A minimum of six (6) years of manufacturing/quality control/process design experience in the manufacturing of vehicle/automotive components. Especially related to the fabrication (cutting, bending, forming, stamping, rolling, punching, etc.), welding, and machining processes of metallic components. Three (3) of the six (6) years of experience needs to focus on: quality engineering, supplier quality engineering and/or quality management with understanding and experience working with Advanced Quality Planning tools (design reviews, FMEAs, Contractual Control Plans, Inspection and Test plans, Gage R&R Studies, Capability Studies, SPC, 7-step or 8D corrective action process), engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, metrology and usage of common gages such as calipers, micrometers, bore gages, surface finish gages, etc.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time within North America

At ADM the Commodity Trader is a dynamic role that has the responsibility for the procurement of grain and oilseeds, and/or the marketing of finished goods to achieve optimum financial results. Our Traders are asked to develop an understanding of local, national and global market trends, calculate business margins and their effect on commodity pricing, and manage local bids and offers among many other topics. Additionally, they balance risk management, customer relationships, transportation and logistics.

You will experience how we build and maintain relationships with customers as well as colleagues from other ADM Processing Plants, the handling of logistics, accounting, execution and other customer related issues. Our Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration during the summer. These are paid positions which include fully-furnished, company-paid housing. Standard costs are reimbursed for relocating to and from the assigned location.

Key components of the internship include:
• Grain merchandising
• Space and logistics management
• Risk Management Tools
• Understanding facility operations such as receiving, load-out of grain, maintenance and safety
• Financial accounting and management
• Customer service including creating new value for the customer in a commodity business

Qualifications:
• Pursuing a four-year degree in Business or an Agriculture-related field
• GPA of 2.8 or greater is preferred
• Open to relocation throughout the U.S.
• Has adequate transportation that allows you to go to and from your internship
