The function of the Executive Director is to ensure the delivery of the best quality care for Stone’s residents. In addition, this position will develop, direct, and control facility operations within the bounds of established policies, procedures, programs, and budgets.
In addition to Stone, Legacy is affiliated with Deutsches Altenheim of West Roxbury; Chelsea Jewish Lifecare of Chelsea and Peabody; JGS Lifecare of Longmeadow; Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Jamaica Plain; and the Elizabeth Seton Residence and Marillac Residence of Wellesley.
Through Legacy, Stone’s Executive Director will have access to resources ordinarily only available to much larger organizations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensure regulatory compliance with annual surveys
• Represent both Legacy and Stone both onsite and in the community
• Maintain regulatory compliance in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Assure a safe and pleasant environment for residents, family members and staff
• Assume responsibility/authority for decisions regarding all aspects of facility operations
• In conjunction with the finance team and department leaders, creates and manages budget to meet facility needs and goals
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to assure that established policies and procedures are maintained
• Work in partnership with Stone’s Director of Nursing and Legacy’s Chief Operating Officer to ensure quality, person-centered care

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
