The Division of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences (DBOS) at Claremont Graduate University has a Ph.D. Program in Evaluation and Applied Research Methods, M.A. co-concentration programs in Evaluation with Positive Organizational, Developmental, and Health Psychology, Organizational Behavior, and Public Health, an online M.S. program in Evaluation and Applied Research, and encourages transdisciplinary teaching and scholarship. The Claremont Evaluation Center (CEC) supports millions of dollars in evaluation contracts and grants, and professional development programs including The Evaluators’ Institute (TEI). Candidates’ portfolio of work should contribute to one or more of our graduate degree programs, and ideally contribute to the CEC’s portfolio of activities. Qualifications. Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree and must have at least four years of postdoctoral teaching experience at the graduate/executive level. In addition, candidates must have a strong record of scholarship; interest in diverse approaches, students, and populations; and a demonstrated ability to make their intellectual contributions accessible to experienced managers through teaching and published work.

A Ph.D. in finance or closely aligned field from a nationally or internationally recognized university is required. Qualified candidates need to have recent research publications and/or experience working with industry in order to meet AACSB teaching expectations. Preferred applicants will have demonstrated excellence in research or practical experience in the school's emerging areas of expertise, for example business's role within society (e.g., ESG, impact investing), entrepreneurship, and/or customer focused areas.

A commitment to excellence in teaching and teaching effectiveness is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching corporate finance, particularly at the MBA and/or executive levels. Preference will also be given to prior MBA experience teaching finance electives. In addition, the school is planning on doctoral program growth, thus preferred candidates are expected to be interested in supporting doctoral education. A portion of the teaching assignment may be virtual and preference will be given to faculty with experience teaching in diverse modalities.

Regarding service, the successful applicant will be expected to make service contributions to the school, university, community, and profession. Further, the Drucker School and CGU prides itself on a small, congenial faculty.
