We are looking to add Direct Support Professionals in Monmouth/Ocean County to provide support services for families of individuals with disabilities. The hours are varied between mornings and evenings, weekdays and weekends.
• Must be passionate, accepting and empathetic towards individuals with disabilities.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the primary caregiver and supervisor.
• Assist individuals in activities of daily living, companionship and recreational activities as guided by the individual’s superhero intake information.
• Work with individual to develop his/her goals.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community.
• Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety.
