Job Overview

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MEMBER OF OUR TEAM TO LEARN AND EXECUTE
• Build and maintain an accomplished client base
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our scheduling system
• Market and promote training and coaching programs to prospects and/or clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions
• Maintain a working knowledge of all Sherpa's services, programs, products and initiatives.

• Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for clients
• Interact with clients to enhance their workouts and overall experience - be proactive

Required Qualifications
• Current Nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor's/graduate degree in the field

Qualifications
• High school diploma required. Undergraduate degree a plus.
• Completion of Recovery Coach Training Academy, Recovery Coaching Ethical Considerations, & Medication Supportive Recovery (50 hours).
• NYS Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA or CRPA-P).
• Familiarity with recovery skills, support services, and local community resources required, including substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and referrals.
• At least 2 years working in substance use or mental health recovery services as a provider or recipient required.
• A valid New York State driver's license with a safe and responsible driving history.
• Intermediate skills, including Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook and Excel)
