What you’ll be doing:
The Open Source team is looking for a senior software engineer with expertise in blockchain technology, networking, or distributed, fault-tolerant, systems design. We are seeking a capable and rigorous functional programming enthusiast looking for solving challenging problems never solved before.
As we value motivation and autonomy, the ideal candidate is able and willing to be responsible for a project (end-to-end). This entails the definition and prioritisation of tasks, to the design and implementation, as well as the testing, documentation and support for users.
Ultimately, we seek to create a flourishing ecosystem of technology solutions that apply not only to Cardano, but to a broader set of problems relevant to many distributed systems.
• Coordinate with other maintainers, users and stakeholders through open and efficient processes (e.g. CIP) to identify improvements or new functionalities that directly impact the Cardano technology stack.
• Improve the stability, the quality and the accessibility of the existing Cardano libraries.
• Assist contributors and help foster an open source community of developers in the Cardano technology stack.
• Create new open source libraries, contribute to existing open source projects or design new projects when necessary.
• Review state of the art technology solutions (publications or other libraries / frameworks) to steer evolutions of the project.
• Inform about the techniques and innovations you’re bringing to the Cardano technology stack through workshops, blog posts, scientific papers or any medium that would be deemed relevant.
What we look for in you:
• A PhD or master degree in computer science. A focus on distributed systems or networking is a plus;
• Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of one or more of the existing Cardano technology stacks;
• Autonomy and desire to work as an open source maintainer;
• Ability to deliver high-quality code and ensure it through various testing techniques (e.g. property-based testing);
• Solid communication and sharing skills;
• Expertise with functional programming languages, preferably Haskell;
• Good understanding of permissionless blockchains, especially Proof-of-Stake consensus protocols, is a plus;

Cardax DEX is a platform to exchange tokens on the blockchain without a central entity. There are already DEXes on other blockchains, but Cardano has only recently released support for smart contracts. This brings a unique opportunity for us to be one of the major players on Cardano.

What you’ll be doing:
We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with decent experience in working in that role on a professional level. Someone who is eager to learn and willing to leave a footprint in sustainable software development. The role will focus on the development of enterprise grade blockchain applications and frameworks.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge about software development, established standards and best practices, knows at least the basics of Container based deployments and has a huge interest in learning new technologies and domains. The hands-on software development skills should cover the frontend and backend using common technology stacks like Typescript (React), Java, Rust and DevOps frameworks. Having worked in modern software development project setups including GitOps is a must.
• Design and build blockchain applications from scratch until production deployment.
• Contribute to OpenSource frameworks in the blockchain space and help us improve our developer ecosystem.
• Work with our agile product development teams, provide feedback on requirements and product features and support the application architecture design.
• Perform peer reviews of other team members’ work.
• Help us grow our product development capabilities.
What we look for in you:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience is considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Foundational knowledge about blockchain technology, established standards, cryptography, design of enterprise grade software systems, distributed and decentralized applications.
• Experienced in nowadays web development stacks based on Typescript with React and preferable Material UI.
• Decent Java programming and DevOps skills, preferably using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms and Kubernetes based deployments.
• An interest in learning new programming languages or basic knowledge in other languages like Rust etc.
• Track record of successfully implemented development projects in an OpenSource or Enterprise environment (or both).

What you’ll be doing:
We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with decent experience in working in that role on a professional level. Someone who is eager to learn and willing to leave a footprint in sustainable software development. The role will focus on the development of enterprise grade blockchain applications and frameworks.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge about software development, established standards and best practices, knows at least the basics of Container based deployments and has a huge interest in learning new technologies and domains. The hands-on software development skills should cover the frontend and backend using common technology stacks like Typescript (React), Java, Rust and DevOps frameworks. Having worked in modern software development project setups including GitOps is a must.
• Design and build blockchain applications from scratch until production deployment.
• Contribute to OpenSource frameworks in the blockchain space and help us improve our developer ecosystem.
• Work with our agile product development teams, provide feedback on requirements and product features and support the application architecture design.
• Perform peer reviews of other team members’ work.
• Help us grow our product development capabilities.
What we look for in you:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience is considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Foundational knowledge about blockchain technology, established standards, cryptography, design of enterprise grade software systems, distributed and decentralized applications.
• Experienced in nowadays web development stacks based on Typescript with React and preferable Material UI.
• Decent Java programming and DevOps skills, preferably using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms and Kubernetes based deployments.
• An interest in learning new programming languages or basic knowledge in other languages like Rust etc.
• Track record of successfully implemented development projects in an OpenSource or Enterprise environment (or both).
• You are open, kind and respectful of others’ opinions, as well as act with integrity when engaging in academic or technical discussions.
• Proficient English language and communication skills.
• Self motivated, independent and well organized. Someone who works well on her own and with a team.
