Duties and Responsibilities
• Teach assigned courses as specified in the schedule and course contract
• Evaluate and select texts and instructional materials; prepare course materials and lesson plans
• Provide students an approved syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes, teaching methodology, attendance policies in line with those of the School, texts and readings, assignments and deliverables, timelines and evaluation criteria
• Use the College’s learning management system to post syllabus, assignments and other materials and to communicate with students
• Deliver course content using a variety of teaching styles and provide interesting and engaging assignments that demonstrate the real-world applications of concepts covered
• Observe and evaluate student performance in meeting course objectives and learning outcomes through assignments, projects, discussions or examinations; provide feedback in a timely manner on student progress
• Be available for student consultation through office hours or scheduled appointments or by phone or email
• Maintain records of enrollment and attendance, assessments and grades, submit class rosters and grade sheets by the deadlines established by the College
• Encourage students to submit course evaluations, review course evaluations when available and use feedback to improve course delivery
• Revise and update course content as needed
• Attend one or more orientation sessions to become familiar with the College’s mission and teaching philosophy, policies and procedures and the learning management system
• Meet with the Dean or Program Chair(s) as needed to discuss all aspects of the course including student progress and curriculum development
• Submit an annual performance review

Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in the relevant area, terminal degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in an appropriate organizational work setting
• Prior teaching experience in a graduate or undergraduate program or corporate training, particularly to adult students
• For online classes, prior experience teaching online

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

The Admission Counselor I is responsible for:
• Meeting inquiry and conversion ratio goals established by the College;
• Developing an individual enrollment pipeline plan consistent with the College's Strategic Enrollment Plan for each semester as well as participate in the continuous updating of team outreach plans;
• Identifying internal resources that optimize the visibility and presence of the College among diverse audiences and communities for enrollment purposes;
• Providing outstanding customer service to enroll students to the College's programs;
• Developing and maintaining the data in CRM; including prospects through enrollment;
• Utilizing data in the CRM to manage individual enrollment workflow throughout the funnel;
• Utilizing phone, email, text and other technology to communicate with prospective students in a timely manner (aligned with expectations), providing superior student service;
• Attending training sessions to receive updated information about new programs, services, educator licensure requirements, etc;
• Participating in events, information sessions, orientations, registration events and graduation;
• Provide timely feedback (through systematic and periodic reports) to stakeholders regarding market needs, and challenges faced when selling the college programs;

Education & Experience Required

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, and 5-years or more of sales experience. Strong sales background and people skills preferred, background in customer service, sales, marketing, and higher education are beneficial. Demonstrated experience working with ethnically socially diverse audiences or within such communities.

Language Skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret university procedures, general information, educational and professional publications, synodical procedures, and/or governmental regulations
