Your Mission...
• Draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements relating to the operation of the Overwatch League, Call of Duty League, and other esports activities, including sponsorship, IP license, production, tournament license, marketing, talent, vendor and other commercial agreements
• Support esports product and league operations teams, including drafting and implementing league rules and guidelines across all business areas, team participation agreements, player contract administration, player and team code of conduct matters, and league marketing and promotion
• Review and clear content, marketing, and public relations materials
• Support and coordinate with other groups within the Activision Blizzard legal department, including game team, international group, IP, compliance, privacy, employment, securities and litigation
• Advise team counsel on compliance with league rules relating to the operation, marketing and promotion of Overwatch League, Call of Duty League and other esports teams

Player Profile
• Juris Doctorate and admission to California State Bar in good standing or admission to another State Bar and willingness and qualifications to be “Registered In-house Counsel”
• 3+ years of experience at a top tier law firm and/or corporate legal department
• High level of communication, organizational and project management skills necessary to effectively support and advise clients across all business units
• Excellent research and drafting skills
• Creative problem-solving skills to assist in meeting business needs and seizing new opportunities while mitigating risk and managing key relationships
• Commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
• High level of enthusiasm and interest in gaming and Esports
• Willingness to work on evenings / weekends (when necessary) due to the nature of live Esports events and related media coverage
• Team player and ability to handle multiple, diverse projects simultaneously and under deadlines
• Ability to thrive in dynamic industry and where there is ambiguity and flex in the business and legal environments
