Your Mission

As the Senior Manager, Call of Duty Endowment Development and Partnerships, you will drive and be accountable for all fundraising efforts for the Endowment and will report to the Endowment’s Executive Director.

The Call of Duty Endowment is a 501(c)(3) non-profit private foundation supported by Activision Blizzard. To date, the Endowment has awarded more than $62 million in grants to non-profits that demonstrate the highest level of effectiveness, efficiency and integrity in placing veterans in quality jobs. The Endowment’s rigorous grantee selection process has allowed it to achieve an average cost-per-placement of <$547 compared to the $5,900 spent by the U.S. government. All funds the Endowment raises go directly to our mission, as Activision Blizzard covers the Endowment’s operating costs. In addition to providing funding to the highest performing veterans’ employment organizations, the Endowment partners with its grantees to provide advice and support aimed at helping them sharpen their already top-notch skills.

Established in 2009, Call of Duty Endowment has funded placements for 110,000 US and UK veterans to date—that’s more than half the size of the US Marine Corps! We are now working to place our next 100,000 veterans.

The Senior Manager, Call of Duty Partnerships will be responsible for raising funds to support the Endowment’s mission in the US and UK. You will partner closely with Activision Blizzard partnerships, commercial, and product teams, to develop and implement programs that attract new financial supporters to the cause. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours.

Remote eligible:

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Santa Monica, CA. However, we understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore other possible options, including remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes a fundraising plan and pipeline that allows the Endowment to meet its overall financial and operational goals through in-game items, corporate partnerships, other foundations, and events.
• Reports regularly to the Endowment team on progress against goal and leverages the team for assistance when needed.
• Builds internal and external relationships to enable our expanding revenue generation.
• Leads outreach to prospective supporters through compelling, accurate, timely, and on-brand communications.

• Excellent understanding of Physically Based Rendering systems and techniques.
• Possesses in-depth understanding of game engines, pipelines, and processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, and clothing and a keen eye towards form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regards to modelling.
• Rock-solid communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record to thrive in an ambitious and often ambiguous environment.

Your Mission

As the Environment Lead, you will maintain high visual standards and overall tone as defined by Art Directors. The Lead Artist sets the example to the team with the highest quality content creation, a high proficiency of proprietary technology, tools, and deep understanding of production dependencies. Your Mission

Infinity Ward - Austin is seeking a talented and passionate Expert Gameplay Engineer to oversee gameplay development. As the Expert Gameplay Engineer, you'll be working with our design and content teams to push our gameplay systems to new heights of AAA fun and visual fidelity.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design of our gameplay systems

• Develop, modify, and debug gameplay software in script and C/C++

• Deploy, optimize, and test gameplay software on PC and console platforms

• Collaborate with other internal departments (art, design, audio, QA, etc.)

• Proactively identify issues and fix bugs.

• Balance immediate needs with focus on long-term scalability.

Player Profile

Requirements:

• 5+ years of gameplay development experience.

• 1 shipped product working as a senior gameplay engineer.

• Fluency in 3D math, related to game programming.

• Strong design sensibilities and outstanding communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of C++ programming and practices.

Pluses:

• Experience as project lead.

• Experience with AAA play-control logic, especially on an FPS title.

• Experience with modern animation techniques

• Experience with game physics simulation.

• Experience with networked game logic.

• Experience with game AI.

Your Profile

Activision Publishing is currently seeking a Senior Technical Designer to help our team develop the most engaging features for the next iteration of Warzone on the go.

As a Technical Designer, you will be the link between metagame and core gameplay areas of our game. Working together with the Lead Game Designer and Game Director with a special focus on Battle Royale gameplay, in-game mechanics and combat systems.

Responsibilities:
• Craft and conceptualize new Battle Royale experiences specifically built for mobile players
• Integrate our set of metagame features more closely with BR and Multiplayer gameplay to create highly engaging experiences
• Be our weapon systems expert: Define a process that leads to the creation of the most exciting Weapon Blueprints for players to enjoy
• Collaborate with teams across the studio to prototype, implement, tune, and iterate your designs
• Know our game: how it excels, where it needs improvement, and how you’ll make it better
• Become an authority in competitive analysis and the deconstruction of gameplay features within our segment of the industry
• Communicate efficiently and rally a multidisciplinary team behind your design concepts

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in a Gameplay Engineering, Game Systems Design, Technical Design, or similar position
• Shipped 1+ game titles
• Proficiency with LUA, Python, Javascript and/or other script languages
• Enjoy challenges and creative problem solving
• Self-Motivated/Independent
• A love of mobile games and the FPS genre

Extra Points:
• Modding experience (examples and portfolio pieces are highly encouraged)
• Technical design experience on a shipped AAA title
• Understanding of Call of Duty, shooters and multiplayer industry trends
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
